Their work extends well beyond standard compliance, with a strong focus on complex business structures, strategic tax planning, and long-term client relationships.

The firm operates in a fully cloud-based environment and values initiative, autonomy, and long-term working relationships. Several existing team members are based in the Philippines and have been with the firm for many years.

Role Overview: We're looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with strong Australian public practice experience to join a high-performing accounting team.

This is a senior-level position where you'll manage complex Australian business clients, including structures with 20+ entities. You'll work closely with the Director and broader team across taxation, financial reporting, trust accounting, and advisory engagements while operating with a high degree of independence.

The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of complex accounting work with minimal supervision.

  • Ensure compliance with current tax legislation and accounting standards.
  • Identify process improvements and work with the team to implement more efficient ways of working.
  • Participate in regular team and client meetings, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of client work.
  • Liaise with clients to address queries, build strong relationships, and support their business needs.

Requirements

  • CA or CPA-qualified (or equivalent)
  • 4-6 years of experience in a public practice accounting
  • Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax legislation
  • Experience working with clients across diverse industries and business sizes
  • High proficiency with cloud-based accounting systems (e.g. Xero)

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical capability
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities
  • A collaborative, growth-focused mindset
