Job description

Business Unit:

At ClearDATA, we provide secure, compliant cloud and managed services designed specifically for the healthcare industry. We are looking for a Senior Cloud Systems Engineer to join our Professional Services team and lead technical implementations across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.

Job Summary:

We need a hands-on technical engineer who can cover the full range of our Cloud Operations work. Day to day, that means monitoring system health, triaging and resolving tickets, and being the reliable frontline resource for customers when something needs attention — while also being capable of digging into escalated incidents, executing infrastructure changes, and tuning our monitoring so the whole team sees fewer false alarms. You will keep hosted systems healthy and make sure client environments stay secure, compliant, and running smoothly..

Work Mode: Remote

Shift Timings: Monday to Friday – 24 hours shift window  ( Any 9 Hours shift)
Location: Mumbai - Remote

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring & Triage: Continuously monitor system health, network, and performance tooling across the ClearDATA Secure Cloud, validating alerts and sorting incoming tickets by type and urgency so issues reach the right hands with the right context.
  • Frontline Customer Support: Serve as the first point of contact for customers hosting systems on the ClearDATA Secure Cloud, resolving common requests — access issues, account changes, low-risk fixes — using established runbooks and procedures.
  • Incident Response & Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and resolve incidents that go beyond standard runbooks, digging into logs and performance metrics to diagnose complex issues and restore service quickly.
  • Change Execution: Author, test, and carry out approved infrastructure change requests, verifying each change so updates to client environments don’t introduce new problems or downtime.
  • Observability & Automation: Tune monitoring and alerting to improve signal-to-noise, and implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform or native cloud templates to keep environments repeatable and easy to manage.
  • Compliance Adherence: Ensure all cloud deployments strictly follow healthcare compliance frameworks and our internal security standards.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain clear ticket records and technical documentation, contribute to and update runbooks and SOPs, and participate in shift handoffs so nothing falls through the cracks.undefined

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on cloud engineering or systems administration experience, with comfort working from runbooks and SOPs as well as troubleshooting independently when an issue falls outside them. It is important we stress this experience requirement because these are our frontline folks supporting our healthcare managed services.
  • Cloud Expertise: Solid, practical knowledge of at least one major public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with a willingness to learn and troubleshoot across all three, as used within the ClearDATA Secure Cloud platform.
  • Technical Foundation: Strong background in core IT operations, including networking, identity and access management, and operating system administration for both Linux and Windows.
  • Scripting and Automation: Working proficiency in scripting (such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell) and an interest in building infrastructure automation.
  • Customer Communication: Proven ability to communicate clearly and patiently with customers, providing timely updates and a positive frontline support experience during technical issues.
  • Certifications: Professional level certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP are strongly preferred. ( Basic level certification)

Soft Skills/ Behavioural Skills:

1. Excellent Communication Skills (Written & Verbal)

2. Working Independently.

3. Critical Thinking.

Benefits:

  • Annual Public Holidays as applicable
  • 30 days total leave per calendar year
  • Mediclaim policy
  • Lifestyle Rewards Program
  • Group Term Life Insurance
  • Gratuity
  • ...and more!
