Job description

Esko is seeking a Director, Sales – LATAM to build and lead our direct sales organization across Latin America. This leader will define the growth strategy for the LATAM region focusing on strengthening Esko’s presence across priority markets and bringing the region’s sales representatives under focused, local leadership.

This is a highly autonomous, hands-on builder role with regional bookings, pipeline, and forecast accountability.

Success means establishing LATAM as a cohesive region, creating disciplined commercial processes, expanding into the right markets, and delivering sustained growth in new and existing accounts. The role is focused on direct sales; channel strategy and ownership sit with a separate global channel organization.

Location and travel: Brazil is the preferred location—ideally São Paulo—with Mexico as a secondary option. The role requires significant travel across LATAM, particularly during the first year, to engage the team, customers, and priority markets.

What makes this role distinctive: This is an opportunity for a builder to create a unified LATAM sales region with substantial autonomy—combining strategy, hands-on selling, team leadership, process development, and regional representation in Esko’s global planning.

What You’ll Do

  • Set the LATAM growth strategy by assessing markets, customer segments, installed base, competitive position, and growth potential; prioritize countries and define the direct coverage plan for regional expansion.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the LATAM sales team, setting clear expectations for account plans, pipeline creation, opportunity execution, forecast accuracy, and regional bookings performance.
  • Act as a hands-on commercial leader by joining customer meetings, shaping deals, and personally supporting or leading sales opportunities when needed, especially during the build-out phase.
  • Establish LATAM as a cohesive operating region by clarifying account coverage, creating consistent sales processes, and connecting team activity to measurable growth priorities.
  • Grow the full Esko portfolio through new customer acquisition and expansion within existing accounts across brands, pre-media, trade shops, manufacturers, and converters.
  • Improve commercial execution by coaching value selling, deal strategy, negotiation, and disciplined discounting and by establishing a consistent cadence for pipeline reviews, deal inspection, and forecasting.
  • Build the regional organization for scale by identifying talent needs, recruiting sales representatives where required, and recommending future coverage and leadership structure based on market opportunity and demonstrated productivity.
  • Represent LATAM in global planning, bringing market and customer insight to Product, Marketing, Customer Experience, RevOps, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Travel extensively across LATAM—particularly during the first year—to coach the team, meet customers, assess markets, and drive in-country execution.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

  • Senior B2B SaaS or software sales leadership experience, including responsibility for teams and commercial results across multiple Latin American countries.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience launching, building, or materially expanding LATAM for a company headquartered outside the region, with clear evidence of how markets were prioritized and growth was delivered.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding regional bookings or revenue targets in a complex, multi-product environment.
  • Hands-on leadership experience: able to build strategy, coach a geographically dispersed team, work directly with customers, support deals, and recruit talent as the region grows.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce and structured sales methodologies, with the ability to establish consistent pipeline discipline and forecasting practices.
  • Professional fluency in English, Spanish and Portuguese, plus sufficient capability in the third language to participate effectively in business and customer meetings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Based in Brazil—preferably São Paulo—or Mexico, with convenient access to a major airport.
  • Professional fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
  • Experience in an entrepreneurial, start-up, scale-up, or early-stage regional environment where processes and teams were built rather than inherited.
  • Background in packaging, pre-media, printing, brand management, or adjacent industries aligned with Esko’s core markets.
  • Experience operating within a global, matrixed organization; familiarity with Lean or continuous-improvement business systems is an advantage.

Why Join Us

Build with autonomy: Create a unified LATAM sales region with the independence to shape priorities, processes, talent, and market expansion.

Lead from the field: Combine regional strategy with hands-on customer engagement, deal leadership, coaching, and team building.

Grow with a market leader: Bring an entrepreneurial builder mindset to an established global company with a strong portfolio and the stability of Veralto.

Benefits

  • An amazing global team.
  • A locally competitive benefits package, with details provided for the hiring country.
  • Sales incentive bonus and annual salary review.
  • Training and development opportunities.
  • Global Employee Assistance Program with legal, financial, and counselling resources.
