Job description

  1. About SIMA LLC

Social Investment Managers and Advisors LLC (SIMA) is a forward-thinking, fast-growing impact investment manager (www.simafunds.com) , with a unique business model and a transparent culture. We are a unique asset manager that not only creates some of the largest funds in the sector but also establishes operating companies, such as an affordable fintech mortgage company (www.asaangharfinance.com) and a Fractional CFO business in the US. SIMA as a “new generation” impact investment manager, we are dedicated to transparency, inclusive decision-making, and social impact across sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. Recognizing that not all impact investing interventions can be commercialized, we have also started a charitable foundation (www.simafoundation.org) . SIMA’s focus is on renewable energy in particular solar energy, financial inclusion and affordable housing. We work in some of the most underserved regions in Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. SIMA is committed to transparency, inclusive decision-making and innovative thinking. The firm’s Managing Partners are among the longest serving impact investment managers globally and have actively contributed to the development of the impact investment industry. While SIMA is based in the U.S., the majority of our staff are located in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Turkey, Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda and Zimbabwe.

    5. Equity Expansion: Help create and scale SIMA’s equity fund management business while maintaining excellence in financial analysis.
    6. Capital Raising: Support fundraising efforts by engaging with Development Finance Institutions (DFIs), foundations, and institutional investors.
    7. Collateral Development: Co-create essential templates, pitch books, and marketing materials for both fundraising and deployment phases.
