About the role

We’re building a freelance talent pool of experienced Brazilian Portuguese dubbing professionals for film, TV, and digital content projects.

You’ll use Deepdub’s AI dubbing platform alongside your creative expertise to help deliver natural, engaging Brazilian Portuguese dubs, working with a global network of language and media professionals.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee the creative quality of dubbing projects, from initial review to final delivery.
  • Make casting decisions that match voices to characters and the creative needs of each project.
  • Adapt scripts for natural Brazilian Portuguese while preserving the meaning and tone of the original content.
  • Prepare creative briefs to guide voice selection and performance.
  • Review dubbed content for linguistic accuracy, natural delivery, and consistency.
  • Manage your work independently across multiple productions and collaborate with the production team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in one or more of the following: dubbing direction, script adaptation, dubbing performance, or voice acting in the media and entertainment industry.
  • Audio or video editing skills.
  • Confidence learning new software, platforms, and digital production tools.
  • Strong English communication skills for collaboration with an international team - must.
  • Fluent Portuguese (spoken and written) - must.
  • Previous experience with AI dubbing tools is a plus, not a requirement.
