Job description

Impacto Talent is hiring on behalf of a fast-growing North American manufacturer of commercial and industrial LED lighting. The company is building its team in Argentina and is looking for a Product & Procurement Manager to own how its products are defined, sourced and delivered.

About the role
You’ll connect the company’s overseas suppliers with its internal teams (sales, engineering, project management, logistics and finance). Your job is to make sure every product arrives on spec, on budget and on time. You’ll work with factories in Asia, so you’ll sometimes need to follow up outside regular hours.

What you’ll do

Product

  • Set up and maintain SKUs, specifications and product data in the ERP

  • Manage sample and material requests from start to finish

  • Coordinate custom shop drawings and revisions with engineering and suppliers

Sourcing & supply

  • Find, assess and onboard new suppliers

  • Negotiate pricing, terms, MOQs and lead times

  • Issue purchase orders and follow each one through production and delivery

  • Plan container shipments with forwarders and customs brokers, tracking landed costs, duties and tariffs

  • Monitor inventory and forecast demand, balancing product availability against cash flow

Quality & compliance

  • Coordinate pre-shipment and arrival inspections, and follow up on corrective actions with suppliers

  • Run supplier audits and keep certifications (UL/cUL, ETL, DLC) and compliance records up to date

Reporting & coordination

  • Share regular updates on orders, lead times, inventory, costs and supplier performance

  • Flag delays, shortages or defects early, and bring options for solving them

  • Keep records organized and help build processes as the company scales

What we’re looking for

  • 3+ years in procurement, product management or supply chain, ideally in lighting, electrical or manufacturing

  • Hands-on experience buying from overseas suppliers and managing container imports (Asia is a strong plus)

  • Comfortable with LED product specs and reading shop drawings

  • Knowledge of import/export, customs and US/Canada logistics

  • Strong negotiation and cost-control skills

  • Background in quality control, supplier audits or vendor compliance

  • ERP/MRP experience (Odoo a plus) and advanced Excel

  • Fluent English; French is a plus

You’ll thrive here if you

  • Negotiate firmly while keeping supplier relationships healthy

  • Notice when a spec, price or date doesn’t add up

  • Raise issues early and bring solutions with them

  • Enjoy fast-paced, growing environments

Work arrangement

  • Contract Type: Independent contractor | Monthly Salary | USD Payment.

  • 2 weeks of paid vacation.

  • Canadian (Quebec) public holidays.

  • Work Schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
