As a values-driven organisation, integrity, collaboration, agility, and inclusion are at the heart of how we work and interact with each other, customers, patients and suppliers.

As a Proposals Development Associate II at ICON, you will facilitate the development and preparation of proposals supporting Late Phase, Real World Evidence (RWE), observational, post-marketing, and non-interventional research programs, contributing to the generation of evidence that informs healthcare decisions and improves patient outcomes.

  • Assisting in the preparation, development, and formatting of proposals and budgets, ensuring alignment with client requirements, operational capabilities, and industry best practices.
  • Supporting the evaluation of RFPs and bid strategies, helping to identify key study design, operational, and commercial considerations associated with Late Phase and Real World research programs.
  • Coordinating with subject matter experts across clinical operations, biostatistics, data management, epidemiology, patient-centered outcomes, and HEOR teams to obtain input on technical aspects of proposals.
  • Conducting thorough reviews of proposal documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, compliance, and alignment with client objectives while supporting timely submission of high-quality deliverables.
  • Supporting proposal managers in managing timelines, tracking milestones, and coordinating activities across stakeholders to ensure successful proposal development and submission.

Your Profile:
You will have a strong foundation in proposal development with experience supporting Late Phase and Real World research opportunities. You are detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, public health, communications, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience in proposal development, business development support, project coordination, or a related function within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, CRO, or clinical research industry.
  • Experience developing proposals and responding to RFPs for Late Phase, Real World Evidence (RWE), observational, registry, post-marketing, or non-interventional studies strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of clinical research methodologies, including Phase IV studies, prospective and retrospective observational research, patient registries, and real-world data collection approaches.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop client-focused proposals, budgets, and supporting documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple proposal opportunities simultaneously under competing deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex scientific and operational information.
