Our client, a public services organization, is looking to hire a Business Solutions Analyst at Los Angeles, CA.

Job Title: Business Solutions Analyst
Duration: Contract - 12+ months
Location: Onsite – Los Angeles, CA
Pay Range: $50 - $53 per hour (DOE) 
 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Analyze business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and define functional and system requirements for IT solutions.

  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications, including REST API requirements and OpenAPI/Swagger documentation.

  • Support API-based integration and data exchange initiatives, using Azure API Management and Postman for documentation, testing, and validation.

  • Develop and maintain requirements trackers, API documentation, companion guides, business cases, and technical specifications.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders throughout solution design, testing, implementation, and post-implementation support while ensuring compliance with information security policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifying experience, with at least 5 years of experience on IT projects and 3 years in business systems analysis and design.

  • At least 3 years of business or systems analysis experience involving data exchange, EDI, or API-based integration projects.

  • Experience analyzing REST API requirements and working with OpenAPI/Swagger specifications and Azure API Management.

  • Experience with Postman or similar API testing tools, requirements tracking, and API documentation.
