Job description

Cruise Administration Services, Inc. (CASI), a Carnival Cruise Line entity in the Philippines, is currently looking for Auditor, Freight and Logistics. Only candidates located in Metro Manila, Philippines to apply.

Job Summary:

The Auditor, Logistics & Freight is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a well‑structured invoice‑audit framework for all Freight & Logistics (F&L) vendors to ensure full compliance with Carnival Cruise Line accounting processes, RAAS requirements, and SOX regulations. This includes managing end‑to‑end invoice‑verification controls, investigating anomalies through detailed analysis and vendor correspondence, and identifying internal‑control deficiencies or risk‑management issues.

The role also will support the transition from manual audit processes to automated invoice‑auditing workflows by partnering with internal and external cross‑functional teams and leveraging the IMS automated billing platform for real‑time rate validation, accurate cost allocation, and timely discrepancy detection. In addition, the Auditor works directly with F&L vendors to clarify charges, correct errors, recover credits, and enforce compliance with CCL invoicing standards. This position is critical to strengthening process integrity, improving operational efficiency, reducing financial risk, and supporting continuous improvement across the full F&L billing cycle. The Auditor may also perform purchasing‑related tasks as needed to support department objectives.

Key Accountabilities / Job Functions:

  • Responsible for creating, maintaining, and enforcing a reliable invoice‑audit process that follows RAAS requirements, SOX controls, and company accounting policies. Review invoices for accuracy, validate supporting documentation, identify discrepancies or non‑compliance, and maintain an organized audit trail that supports both internal and external audit reviews.
  • Support the ongoing automation of invoice auditing by partnering with IT, RAAS, Finance, AP, and operational teams. This includes using the IMS platform to validate rates, and identify errors at the time invoices are received. Evaluate system gaps, support enhancements through testing and feedback, and work to reduce manual effort through improved automated workflows.
  • Serve as a point of contact for F&L vendors regarding invoice discrepancies, missing documentation, incorrect charges, and compliance expectations. Communicate audit findings clearly, ensure vendors correct errors promptly, pursue credit recovery for inaccurate billing, and reinforce compliance with CCL invoicing standards across all vendor interactions.
  • Work closely with Receiving, Logistics, Finance, RAAS, Sourcing, and Accounts Payable to resolve invoice issues quickly and accurately. Ensure all teams understand documentation requirements, compliance standards, and audit expectations, while supporting process consistency across departments and contributing to improvements that strengthen internal controls.
  • Analyze audit data, identify error patterns, and prepare reports that summarize findings, vendor performance, and risk areas. Provide recommendations to management to reduce recurring issues, improve accuracy, and enhance efficiency. Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process updates or policy adjustments.
  • Ensure all department policies and procedures aligned to invoice auditing, vendor compliance, and documentation standards remain current and accurate. Adhere to corporate policies, financial controls, and audit rules. Assists with audit requests, prepare required documentation, and maintain strong governance over all invoice‑related processes.
  • Assists with supply chain-related tasks as needed, support special projects tied to process improvement or automation, and contribute to departmental goals and objectives. Identify improvement opportunities, support workflow refinements, and help ensure the overall reliability and accuracy of F&L invoice processing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, and/or Accounting
  • With at least 3 years relevant experience
  • Knowledge and experience in reviewing operational/business processes and implementing controls.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
  • Commitment to identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Solutions-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate-level skills in Excel to perform analysis using pivot, VLOOKUP tables, and advanced formulas.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Oracle Financials preferred.
  • Must be amenable to work remotely and in EST schedule
