Independent Contractor – B-CPT-11601 Bilingual Student Operations & Administrative Virtual Assistant/Business Support VA/Entry-Senior Level (Remote).

Overview

20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.

A fully remote education company specializing in live SAT preparation is seeking a Business Support VA to help fill recurring student operations, administrative, and customer-service needs.

The role is approximately 60% backend administration and 40% student-facing support. The company provides detailed training on its systems, diagnostic processes, communication standards, and student workflows, so previous test-prep experience is not required.

The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.

Scope of Services

Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:

Student Operations

  • Review student diagnostics and pre-class work to identify missing or incomplete information, learning needs, or areas requiring follow-up.
  • Create, check, and send individualized homework lists based on students' progress, schedules, assigned workloads, and established processes.
  • Track student progress and maintain accurate information across gradebooks, homework records, progress reports, and Google Classroom.
  • Follow up with students regarding missing work, required corrections, upcoming deadlines, and other course expectations.
  • Support student onboarding by organizing information, preparing course materials, and helping students access the required systems and resources.
  • Complete pre-course checks, release class materials, and prepare operational documents for upcoming courses.
  • Assist with mock exams, including proctoring sessions, reviewing submissions, and grading practice exams as trained.
  • Review student work and submissions using company-provided training and established guidelines.
  • Assist with additional administrative and operational tasks as they are introduced.

Student & Team Communication

  • Monitor student chats during assigned shifts.
  • Respond to routine student and parent questions using established templates and guidance.
  • Troubleshoot common student issues using established procedures and escalate more complex concerns to the appropriate team member.
  • Document issues and communicate relevant updates internally.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure assigned tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and process-improvement initiatives.

Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.
