XTN-62D3749 | SENIOR PAYROLL SPECIALIST

The role is responsible for end-to-end US payroll processing using Workday, including auditing timesheets, validating payroll inputs, managing new hire/termination updates, and handling off-cycle transactions. This person will support two payroll specialists and one contractor, while reporting to Payroll Manager. It may also involve processing Canada payroll via Activpayroll and Brazil via PwC, managing involuntary deductions, and issuing final pay and severance. Sometimes this role will assist first reviewing and auditing payrolls. 

Additional duties include supporting audits (401k, statutory, tax), processing employee equity transactions (NSO, ISO), responding to verification-of-employment requests, attending meetings, and collaborating with HR, Benefits, Accounting, Finance, and external vendors via Slack and email.

• Full-cycle, multi-state US payroll experience
  
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills: lookups, pivots, reconciliations
  
• Experience investigating discrepancies and supporting audits or reporting
  
• Clear English communication; follows controls and escalates issues

• Workday Payroll experience strongly preferred Canada, Brazil payroll and vendor coordination
• Equity, year-end, SOX, or payroll project support
• Target 5+ years, including hands-on US payroll
• Relevant payroll and project experience matters more than tenure
