Job description

About the Role

We're looking for a partnerships, webinars and events manager for two brands: Darkroom, our growth marketing agency, and Shadow, our AI commerce platform. Ad Age recently described us as "if Omnicom was rebuilt on AI." Webinars, events, partners and press are where people who read our content become people we talk to.

You run that program end to end: webinars, events across the company, sponsorships and partner programs, co-marketing, guests, and press. It is a commercial role as much as a production one. You raise money from sponsors, and you produce what they bought.

This is a remote role, hiring in Brazil, Portugal, or Spain only, working with a team in the EST Time Zone, with travel to New York for events. All business is conducted 100% in English.

What you'll own

  • Webinars: A regular webinar and lead-magnet series for both brands: topics, guests, run-of-show, promotion, the live session, and follow-up.

  • Events & Production: Events across the company, from NYC office events and founder dinners to brand activations and conference presence. You run production: run-of-show, venues, AV, vendors, and on-site management, then the recap.

  • Sponsorships: Build sponsorship packages for our events and webinars, sell them to brands, platforms and partners, and deliver what each sponsor bought.

  • Platform Partner Programs: Run partner programs and co-marketing packages with ad platforms and commerce and marketing tools, and sponsorship packages for major industry events, from pitch materials to delivery.

  • Co-Marketing: A pipeline of martech, AI and commerce partners, turned into co-branded guides, joint webinars and shared distribution, with commitments tracked until they ship.

  • Guests: Find, invite and prepare guests for our webinars, hosted series and podcast.

  • Press & Appearances: Pitch journalists and outlets on Darkroom and Shadow stories, and book our executives on outside podcasts, panels and stages.

  • Leads, Not Attendance: Every registrant and attendee is captured and followed up, so each program ties back to leads.

You should apply if this sounds like you

  • 3 to 5 years running webinars, events, or marketing partnerships, ideally B2B, with accountability for leads.

  • You have raised money from sponsors: you have built sponsorship packages for events or webinars and sold them.

  • You have produced events yourself: run-of-show, venues, AV, vendors and on-site, from setup to follow-up.

  • You have pitched press or booked speakers, and you know what makes an outlet or a stage say yes.

  • You build networks of partners, sponsors, guests, and hosts, and you have commercial sense about what each side gives and gets.

  • You write clearly, stay organized across many dates, and work with AI daily. Martech, SaaS, ecommerce, or agency experience is a plus.

Hard disqualifiers

  • Never sold a sponsorship.

  • Never produced an event end-to-end.
