About The Back Room
We exist to free our clients' time so they can focus on what they do best — growing their business. We deliver smart, efficient solutions that liberate teams from the everyday admin, and we hold ourselves to the same standard. Time is the ultimate currency, and we treat it like it.
About the Client
Our client is an AI Context platform that governs business intelligence, helping businesses manage and leverage their information through AI. The company has a focused marketing team dedicated to generating new business opportunities, combining established marketing foundations with AI-powered workflows to drive demand and support business growth.
The Role
You will run Client's demand generation for net new logos, with AI agents as your team. We are a small team with big pipeline targets, so we will not scale by headcount. We will scale by designing, delegating to and managing autonomous marketing agents.
You are the agent boss. Agents handle the operational load: research, competitor monitoring, content drafts, data synthesis and experiment variations. You own the strategy, the taste and the final call. Client sells governed intelligence, and we expect our own marketing to be run the same way: automated where it should be, accountable to a human always.
This is an execution role. Marketing Ops runs the tech stack and CRM, and our website and SEO foundations are in place. You will align with Marketing Ops and build on top of those foundations, turning them into campaigns and pipeline from day one.
What You'll Do
Manage the marketing agent team
Design, configure and run agent workflows for competitor and market monitoring, account research, lead enrichment, content drafting and reporting.
Set tasks, review outputs and decide what ships. Nothing goes to market without a human sign-off.
Maintain the quality of the data, prompts and context your agents run on. Retire workflows that don't earn their keep.
Document every workflow: what it does, what it's allowed to touch, who reviews it and how it is measured.
Execute demand generation
Plan and run campaigns that generate net new logo pipeline across web, search, social and email.
Build nurture programmes and account-based plays for target accounts, using agents to research accounts and personalise at scale.
Produce the content that feeds demand: website pages, SEO articles, case studies,
email and social. Agents draft; you edit and decide.
Own the growth repository: brand voice, messaging, ICP definitions, customer
insights and approved claims. This is the single source of context your agents work
from.
Work closely with Marketing Ops. Brief your campaign and data needs, use the stack
and CRM as built, and flag gaps. You build campaigns and agent workflows on top of
the stack, not the stack itself.
Run rapid experiments
Use agent velocity to test positioning, hooks, copy, offers and channels across web,
search, LinkedIn and email.
Run a documented experiment cadence: hypothesis, test, result, decision. Kill losers
fast and scale winners.
Focus organic channels first. Paid channels can be added once proof is found.
Hold the quality line
Own brand voice integrity, factual accuracy and creative direction across everything
agents produce.
Make sure agent workflows respect privacy law, platform rules and Arbitr's data
handling policies.
Measure and redirect
Work with Marketing Ops to track every campaign from first touch to accepted
opportunity. Pipeline is counted at opportunity accepted, not at meetings booked.
Working directly for the CMO, report weekly on channel performance, experiment
results and pipeline contribution.
Redirect agent effort based on what is actually converting, not on activity volume.
Work with Sales on lead handover, feedback loops and the definition of a qualified
lead.
What We're Looking For
Experience: 2+ years in demand generation or growth marketing, ideally B2B SaaS,
with campaigns you can show produced pipeline and a track record of using
automation to do more with less.
Agent proficiency: hands-on experience configuring, prompting and managing AI
agents or multi-step AI workflows. Examples include Claude or ChatGPT projects,
custom GPTs, Make, Zapier or n8n agents, and AI features inside marketing tools.
Bring examples of workflows you built and what they delivered.
Strategic taste: strong editorial instincts. You know what good B2B work looks like
and can separate high-value output from noise quickly.
Data literacy: comfortable reading campaign and funnel data and turning findings
into new briefs, prompts and campaigns.
Builder mindset: you are comfortable writing the playbook yourself, with a small
team and solid foundations to build on.
Judgment on risk: you understand where AI output needs checking and treat
accuracy, privacy and brand as non-negotiable.
Nice to Have
Hands-on campaign experience in a CRM and marketing automation platform
Experience marketing technical or data products to enterprise buyers.
Experience in USA and EMEA/UK markets
