Job Description

• Provide brand information to key Neonatologists, Respiratory Therapists and key Decision Makers in centres where the company device is used
• Uncover growth opportunities for the company device
• Represent key hospitals in partnership with our contracting group to track and maintain existing contracts
• Provide accurate forecasting of the planned use of the medical device for the targeted hospitals
• Manage the annual preventative maintenance schedule for the devices in the territory in partnership with our customer care specialists and technical engineers
• Deliver the revenue target for the brand in the assigned territory
• Ensure that the Respiratory Therapists and Allied Health Care Professionals are trained to deliver the device treatment to their patients.
• Partner with Medical to implement robust HCP learning programs aligned with the HCP needs and our brand strategy

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver sales targets for defined accounts in line with company goals
• Implement a business development mind set to build and implement a detailed plan of action that leads to optimized performance
• Ability to learn deep therapeutic knowledge and to provide value in a complex healthcare ecosystem
• Build detailed regional account plan tracking activities and performance
• Adherence to our code of ethics and pharmacovigilance process while maintaining high integrity in all activities as we:
  • Build deep HCP and stakeholder relationships based on providing trustworthy solutions
  • Remain current and knowledgeable regarding our existing contracts with hospitals
  • Uncover new opportunities for growth within our indicated use
  • Collaborate with Medical, Field Technical Support, Clinical and Scientific Development and other departments to meet team goals
  • In-service product and therapeutic education to HCP’s that ensures the safe and effective use of our product

Qualifications:

Education / Experience / Skills:

• Required: Respiratory Therapist trained. Ideal if the candidate also had a business or science degree.
• Experience with commercialization of Medical Devices and Hospital Account Management
• Minimum of 5 years’ hospital sales experience
• Excellent Communication skills
• Good understanding of healthcare and hospital ecosystem 
• Good analytical and conceptual skills
• Strong presentation, project management and negotiation skills
• Demonstrated leadership skills/abilities and a track record of working in a collaborative environment are required.
• A strong record of sales performance and success is required. 
• Management/supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
• Expertise in healthcare industry sales and business planning is preferred.

Working Conditions:

The role is field based in Ontario. It will require travel throughout Ontario, and Manitoba.
