Contemporary R&B/Neo-Soul/Gospel Singer

Musiversal is the world's first online recording studio. We provide session musicians with a steady flow of remote recording sessions and a stable monthly income as a result, reinventing the paradigm of music production in the process. Having launched just over three years ago, our Musiversal membership now has more than 115 session musicians, producers and audio engineers on its world-class roster, delivering more than 9,000 livestream sessions every month.
 

We're looking to audition talented session R&B/Neo-Soul/Gospel singers!

Please note: we won't be hiring right away but would like to begin gathering candidates and gradually auditioning the best ones, in order to have someone approved, who we can move forward with hiring when the time is right.

Ideally, we’re looking for you to be available for remote session work at the following times:

• Weekdays; 5pm - 11pm in any US time zone
• Weekends; 8am - 11pm in any US time zone

Requirements

- You are an experienced session vocalist, with a proven track record of studio work in the Contemporary R&B, Neo-Soul and Gospel styles.

- You are very comfortable with different approaches in those styles, from Usher and Mary J.Blige, to D'Angelo and Erykah Badu, to Bilal and Lalah Hathaway, all the way to Tamela Mann and Marvin Sapp, and many more around and in between.

- You can sight-read and improvise.

- You are very comfortable receiving client feedback live and adapting to it live, in real-time.

- You are proficient working with a DAW (Logic, Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Cubase, etc).

- You have a professional home-studio setup that includes high-quality gear (microphones, preamps, audio interface, etc) and proper acoustic treatment.

- You have an internet connection with a minimum of 30mbps of actual (not contracted) UPLOAD speed and an ethernet cable.

- You are fluent in English

- You have great (native-like) English diction and pronunciation when singing
