Senior Mobile Producer (Atari)

Location: Remote, Melbourne Ideal, not required.

Time Zone: Australian, New Zealand, Southeast Asian, Japanese, or Korean time zones

About Us

Atari, one of the world's most iconic entertainment brands, is a pioneer in interactive entertainment. With operations spanning gaming, e-commerce, licensing, and hardware, Atari thrives at the intersection of innovation and legacy. Join our dynamic team and help shape the next generation of Atari games across mobile, web, and emerging platforms.

About the Role

Atari is seeking a highly experienced Senior Mobile Producer to lead the development, porting, and delivery of mobile and web games across a growing portfolio. You’ll work with internal stakeholders, external development and porting teams, platform partners, and strategic partners to ensure games are built correctly, tested thoroughly, and delivered on time.

This is a product-focused production role, not a marketing role. You’ll take ownership across the full game development lifecycle, from identifying promising existing titles and exploring new development opportunities through production, testing, porting, platform submission, launch readiness, and ongoing product improvement.

The role will have a balanced focus across porting existing titles and developing new games under Atari Mobile, with the opportunity to explore web-based games and other emerging product opportunities. You’ll manage multiple games simultaneously and bring structure, clarity, and momentum to a fast-moving portfolio.

What You'll Do

  • Own the end-to-end production lifecycle for mobile and web games, from early product exploration and concept development through production, testing, launch, and post-launch support.
  • Manage multiple games and initiatives in parallel, maintaining clear priorities, schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, and delivery expectations across the portfolio.
  • Lead the porting of games to mobile and other platforms, coordinating external porting teams, managing schedules, tracking requirements, and ensuring that titles meet quality and platform standards.
  • Work closely with internal teams, external developers, porting partners, and strategic partners to keep projects aligned, unblock progress, and ensure successful delivery.
  • Identify existing titles with potential for mobile, web, or broader platform opportunities, and assess their product, technical, production, and commercial requirements.
  • Support the exploration and development of new games under Atari Mobile, helping evaluate concepts, development partners, technologies, timelines, and production approaches.
  • Translate product and game concepts into clear production plans, scopes, milestones, requirements, and execution strategies.
  • Apply a strong understanding of game design to collaborate with developers and designers, identify production risks, and help ensure that games are engaging, cohesive, and fit for their intended audience.
  • Coordinate testing, quality assurance, bug tracking, certification, and release readiness across internal and external teams.
  • Manage submission and review processes with Apple and Google, ensuring that platform requirements, technical standards, content requirements, and release timelines are understood and addressed.
  • Partner with relevant stakeholders on product positioning and launch planning, providing product and production input while remaining focused on game development and delivery rather than marketing ownership.
  • Evaluate and apply multiple game engines and production technologies as appropriate for different projects.
  • Explore the practical use of AI in game development and production, including opportunities to improve workflows, accelerate prototyping, support development teams, and enhance production efficiency.
  • Build repeatable production processes, documentation, reporting, and best practices that support a growing Atari Mobile portfolio.
  • Take significant ownership of delivery outcomes, proactively identifying issues and driving solutions with limited oversight.

What We're Looking For

  • 10 years of experience in mobile and/or web game production, with extensive experience developing and shipping mobile games.
  • Proven experience managing mobile and/or web game development across the full product lifecycle.
  • Strong experience working with external development, co-development, and porting teams, including responsibility for schedules, milestones, scope, quality, and delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple games or projects in parallel within a changing and fast-paced environment.
  • Deep familiarity with mobile game development, platform requirements, testing, certification, and submission processes for Apple and Google.
  • Strong understanding of game design and the ability to work effectively with designers, developers, artists, QA teams, and external partners.
  • Experience evaluating existing game titles and identifying opportunities for porting, adaptation, or further development, with hands-on experience using game engines such as Unity, Godot, and Defold.
  • Experience exploring new game concepts, development opportunities, and external teams for a growing mobile portfolio.
  • Familiarity with mobile game monetization models and the product decisions that support engagement, retention, and commercial performance.
  • Experience working across multiple game engines and development technologies.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and practical applications of AI in game development or production.
  • Excellent project management, prioritization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong ownership mindset, with the ability to make informed decisions, manage ambiguity, and drive projects forward.
  • Experience working with strategic partners is highly valuable.
  • Availability to work effectively within Australian, New Zealand, Southeast Asian, Japanese, or Korean time zones is required.
  • A proven track record of delivering games on time and to a high standard.
  • This is a senior individual contributor role with the potential to develop into a people leadership position as the Atari Mobile team grows.
