The Trade Analyst will support the company’s corporate trade finance activities with a focus on letters of credit, bank guarantees, surety bonds, documentary collections, cash flow support, foreign exchange exposure, and trade-related financial analysis. This role will partner closely with the Trade Finance Manager and cross-functional teams to support commercial projects, evaluate payment and risk terms, improve trade finance processes, and provide accurate analysis that enables sound financial and operational decisions.

Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Support corporate trade finance activities, including negotiations and issuances of letters of credit, bank guarantees, surety bonds, documentary collections, and related documentation.


• Review and coordinate trade finance requirements for commercial projects, customer contracts, supplier arrangements, and international transactions.


• Partner with sales, project management, finance, legal, operations, and treasury teams to evaluate payment milestone terms, project cash flows, risk exposures, and contract terms as related to trade finance requirements.


• Prepare trade finance reporting, for tracking and forecasting for the purposes of management review.


• Coordinate with banking partners and internal stakeholders on issuance, amendments, renewals, claims, releases, fees, and compliance documentation.


• Lead or contribute to trade finance process improvements, reporting automation, documentation standards, and system enhancements.


• Maintain accurate records and ensure trade finance activities comply with company policies, internal controls, banking requirements, and applicable contractual obligations.

Required Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field required.


• Three or more years of experience in trade finance, treasury, corporate finance, financial analysis, or a related finance function.


• Demonstrated experience supporting cross-functional initiatives, process improvements, reporting automation, or commercial project finance activities.


• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and communicate findings clearly.


• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.


• Experience with ERP systems, treasury management systems, banking portals, or reporting tools preferred.


• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.


Preferred Qualifications:


• Corporate trade finance experience preferred; candidates with banking experience may be considered when experience is directly applicable to corporate trade finance operations.


• Experience with letters of credit, bank guarantees, surety bonds, documentary collections, payment terms, project cash flows, or trade-related financial analysis preferred.

Travel Requirements:


• Limited travel may be required to support business needs, banking relationships, project meetings, or internal finance initiatives.


• Valid driver's license

ADA Requirements:


Work Environment: This position will be located in the Addison, TX office. This is not a fully remote role. To be successful, the role requires frequent interaction with Sales, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain/Supplier Management, and Corporate Finance/Treasury teams. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams and will be flexible in working hours when needed to support projects and stakeholders across multiple time zones (Americas, Europe, and Asia).
