Data Analyst – Commercial Analytics / Data & AI


Summary

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our IT Services team, specializing in commercial analytics and data-driven artificial intelligence initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will leverage advanced data platforms to transform complex sales and commercial datasets into actionable strategic insights. The position is critical for driving revenue growth, optimizing sales processes, and ensuring data integrity across our commercial operations. You will serve as a key bridge between technical data engineering and business stakeholders, utilizing a robust tech stack to support decision-making and forecast accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytical models using Databricks, Python, and PySpark to support commercial reporting needs.
  • Perform deep-dive analysis on sales performance, revenue trends, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for business expansion and efficiency.
  • Manage data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes from diverse sources including SAP SD, Salesforce (SFDC), and Amazon Redshift.
  • Create dynamic, interactive dashboards and visual reports using Qlik Sense, Power BI, and Tableau to communicate key performance indicators to leadership.
  • Conduct rigorous data quality checks and reconciliation activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of commercial data assets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data solutions.
  • Monitor and optimize data workflows to enhance processing speed and reduce latency in reporting cycles.

Requirements
Requirements:
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data analytics, preferably within the IT Services or commercial sectors.
  • Demonstrate proven expertise with big data technologies, specifically Databricks, Amazon Redshift, and Python/PySpark.
  • Show strong proficiency in business intelligence and visualization tools such as Qlik Sense, Power BI, and Tableau.
  • Have hands-on experience with enterprise resource planning and CRM systems, including SAP SD and Salesforce/SFDC.
  • Exhibit a solid background in commercial or sales analytics, with the ability to interpret complex financial and operational data.
  • Display a meticulous attention to detail with a focus on data quality assurance and reconciliation methodologies.
  • Hold a competitive salary expectation aligned with the market rate of ₹12 lpa for this level of specialization.
