Rippling

Computer Software / SaaS

Rippling is a workforce management system that eliminates the friction from running a business. Today, most companies struggle with everything from routine tasks, like running payroll, to cross-functional planning, like aligning on headcount. That’s because all their data related to people, processes, and systems is scattered in a hundred places. Rippling has every application you need to run your business—from applicant tracking and payroll to IT and expenses—in one place. But unlike other systems, Rippling sits on top of a unified platform. Data flows dynamically between Rippling’s applications, giving every team a shared source of truth, the power to automate processes, and access to the insights they need. This allows your business to execute better, faster. Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $1.2B from the world’s top investors—including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, Greenoaks, and Bedrock. Take onboarding, for example. With Rippling, you can hire a new employee anywhere in the world and set up their payroll, corporate card, computer, benefits, and even third-party apps like Slack and Microsoft 365—all within 90 seconds.

Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $1.85B from the world’s top investors—including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, Greenoaks, and Bedrock—and was named one of America's best startup employers by Forbes.

    • Facilitate employee onboarding by coordinating documentation, approvals, and secure data transfers between systems.
    • Ensure accurate and secure transfer of employee information between internal systems and external platforms, including uploading, updating, and synchronizing data.
    • Assist with payroll processes when required by preparing, uploading, and verifying data templates for payroll instructions and expenses, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
    • Handle ongoing employee changes, such as salary adjustments or role updates, by coordinating the preparation, review, and execution of necessary addendums and documentation.

  • Ticketing & Client Support
    • Serve as the first point of contact for HR inquiries, providing professional and timely first-line support for routine questions related to leave policies, performance management, HRIS navigation, and employee data updates.
    • Own the ticketing system, maintaining the queue and ensuring all inquiries receive prompt initial responses and are resolved within established KPIs for response and resolution times.
  • Documentation & Data Management
    • Develop and maintain process documentation, templates, and SOPs to standardize operations and enhance efficiency.
    • Ensure employment agreements, employee documentation, and other key records are accurately prepared, reviewed, and securely stored.
    • Prepare detailed metrics and reporting on task completion, ticket resolution, and process performance to support continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination
    • Collaborate closely with Regional Managers, Partner Managers, and internal teams to resolve escalations, coordinate multi-step processes, and ensure smooth operations.
    • Monitor and track progress on assigned tasks, ensuring deadlines are met and stakeholders are informed of updates.
    • Research and provide guidance on HR matters across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry best practices.
  • Operational Efficiency
    • Create templates and macros for consistent responses and streamlined processes.
    • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all operational tasks, ensuring data integrity and compliance with relevant regulations.

  • Strong understanding of HR processes, including onboarding, payroll, employee changes, and terminations.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms and data management, including transferring and reconciling data across systems.
  • High attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities.
