Role Overview:
The Brand Designer (a) plays a crucial role in evolving and implementing Oviva’s visual identity across all brand touchpoints. This role supports our mission to provide sustainable, personalized, clinically effective care by ensuring our visual communications are clear, emotionally resonant, and accessible.
This role is suited for a self driven Brand Designer who thrives in a collaborative environment, takes initiative, and contributes to scalable, systemised creative outputs. The designer will act as a guardian and amplifier of Oviva’s brand consistency, while also exploring new visual territories to strengthen emotional resonance and market differentiation.

Job requirements

Key skills:

  • Strong visual design and storytelling abilities.

  • Deep knowledge of branding, typography, layout, motion and visual systems.

  • Strong stakeholder collaboration and feedback integration.

  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe CC, and relevant AI enhanced tools.

  • Ability to balance creativity with performance and brand consistency.

Essential:

  • Proven experience in brand design roles, ideally in digital-first environments.

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and execution.

  • Comfortable presenting and defending design rationale to diverse audiences.

  • Language Qualification: German C1+ and fluent English

Desirable:

  • Experience with performance marketing or product branding.

  • Understanding of brand measurement and creative testing (e.g., A/B testing).

  • Experience mentoring juniors or collaborating with external creatives

Education & Qualifications:

Job responsibilities

Brand & Design Systems

  • Take ownership of evolving the visual identity (CI, style guides, frameworks) to support cross functional use cases.

  • Build and maintain flexible, scalable design systems that enhance efficiency and enable brand alignment across teams.

  • Identify areas of inconsistency and proactively implement improvements to reinforce visual cohesion.

Concept & Creative Development

  • Visual concept development for campaigns, product communications and brand storytelling initiatives.

  • Develop compelling storyboards, moodboards, and narrative sketches.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to craft emotionally resonant and performance-aligned creatives.

Design & Asset Production

  • Independently deliver a variety of assets across static, motion, performance creatives, and presentations.

  • Ensure visual alignment with KPIs through data informed design iterations.

  • Mentor and support external contributors in upholding Oviva's design quality.

Collaboration & Creative Sparring

  • Act as a creative partner in cross functional initiatives, elevating design inputs through constructiv feedback.

  • Facilitate design critiques and promote a collaborative feedback culture.

  • Provide guidance and resources to internal stakeholders for effective brand usage.

Efficiency & Scalability

  • Implement and refine design systems and templates

  • Champion adoption of AI tools and workflows that accelerate production.
