Other clinical programs include PAXTRAVA™ (travoprost intracameral implant), also referenced as laboratory code OTX-TIC, for intracameral injection, for the treatment of elevated intraocular pressure in primary open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension, OTX-CSI (cyclosporine ophthalmic insert) for intracanalicular use, for the chronic treatment of dry eye disease, and OTX-DED (dexamethasone ophthalmic insert) for intracanalicular use, for the short-term treatment of the signs and symptoms of dry eye disease.

  • Position Summary:
  • As the Corporate Account Director, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless access and fostering growth for our company's products specifically within the Retina Consultants of America (RCA) account. Your primary focus will be developing and executing account strategies while establishing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders within the account's organization. You'll be instrumental in developing and implementing solutions and agreements that align with the company's growth initiatives while fostering strong, mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Target account: Retina Consultants of America (RCA)
  • Principal Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
  • National Account Strategy
  • Develop and execute account strategy including contracting when appropriate, with overall responsibility for customer engagement across Retina Consultants of America
  • Support launch planning for current and future products by developing product access strategies and tactics for Retina Consultants of America
  • Identify competitive threats and develop response strategies to ensure continued and optimal access and product utilization across Retina Consultants of America
  • Maintain business knowledge and understanding of RCA as well as the broader retina provider landscape to contribute to overall Market Access strategy across the portfolio
  • National Account and Performance Management
  • Develop strategic solutions and implement account plans for RCA, tied to measurable access, financial, and operational outcomes
  • Establish accountability through QBRs, performance management, and data-driven insights
  • Own account GTN performance across all OID, data, and service contracts, ensuring disciplined financial management and optimization
  • Customer Relationships & Senior-Level Engagement
  • Establish and maintain broad and deep touch points at senior leadership levels — including key decision-makers across C-suite, pharmacy leadership, trade relations and clinical management — to create and communicate the value of Ocular Therapeutix’s products
  • Serve as the primary customer-facing lead for RCA, addressing access, pricing, contracting, and business needs
  • Execute contract evaluation, GTN management, and negotiations across product portfolios
  • Seek out opportunities for synergy and partnership through active and transparent customer planning to achieve both Ocular Therapeutix’s and account goals
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Effectively collaborate within Market Access and across Sales, Marketing, and Medical Affairs to develop strategic and tactical plans to ensure coordinated account pull-through across RCA
  • Provide subject matter expertise to Commercial and Medical Affairs functions on specific RCA dynamics
  • Leverage insights from customer interactions and cross-functional collaboration to refine go-to-market strategy, launch planning and child account pull through efforts
  • Support field teams with tools, insights, and RCA-specific strategies to enhance provider pull through
  • Qualification Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical key account management or similar role
  • Ideal candidate has retina experience will be able to leverage existing relationships with individuals in leadership and purchasing decision-making roles at RCA
  • Proven track record of building relationships with C-suite executives of GPOs, MSOs or large provider networks
  • Must have deep familiarity with contracting and account management of large provider networks
  • Strong communication, influencing, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in a cross-functional, matrixed environment
  • Ability to travel up to [70%]
Salary Range$240,000—$269,000 USD
