About the role

As an Account Executive, you'll play a critical role in expanding our footprint within the manufacturing industry by helping customers leverage industry-leading technologies including PLM, CAD, and ALM. You'll own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through solution alignment, executive engagement, and contract close. Working alongside technical experts, you'll help customers align technology investments with their strategic business goals while driving meaningful growth for both our clients and our business.

What you’ll do

  • Own and achieve sales quota across named accounts and territory-based prospecting.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within manufacturing organizations.

  • Build and maintain customer relationships across all levels of an organization, including C-level executives.

  • Partner with technical counterparts to understand customers’ strategic business initiatives and develop solutions aligned with their goals.

  • Articulate the business and technology value of solutions across the PDSVISION portfolio, including PLM, CAD, and ALM technologies.

  • Lead customer discovery efforts, identify opportunities, and manage enterprise software sales cycles from initial engagement through close.

  • Conduct regular customer check-ins to assess satisfaction and uncover opportunities for account growth and additional services.

  • Develop quarterly business, territory, and account plans to support sales execution.

  • Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape and evolving market opportunities.

  • Utilize internal sales tools and systems, including Salesforce, quoting, communication, and ticketing platforms.

What you’ll bring

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • 2+ years of experience selling enterprise software solutions involving complex sales cycles.

  • 2+ years of experience within PLM, SCM, ERP, Simulation, Data Management, CRM, or related technology markets.

  • Experience selling to stakeholders ranging from end users to executive leadership and CXO-level decision-makers.

  • Demonstrated history of achieving or exceeding sales quotas.

  • Strong business acumen and ability to align customer strategy with technology solutions.

  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Salesforce, CPQ, or similar sales technology platforms.

  • Experience selling into manufacturing or engineering-focused organizations.

  • Familiarity with digital transformation, product development, or engineering technology solution

Work setup

  • Remote/home-office-based role with significant customer-facing activity.

  • Target travel of approximately 35–50% annually based on customer and business needs.

  • Some international travel may be required.

This position must be performed from an approved work location within the United States. Applicants must reside in and perform all work from an approved a location within the United States. Remote work from outside the United States is not permitted.

The salary range listed represents the company’s good-faith estimate of base compensation for this position at the time of posting. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for the role and may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for other forms of compensation, including incentive-based bonuses or commissions, as applicable.
