CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST – SENIOR

Job Summary

B&A is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist – Senior to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Information Operations Enterprise Enclave and Information Operations Secure Enterprise Enclave Engineering (IOEE/IOSEE) Support Services. This is a primarily remote position, within 15 miles of Fort Belvoir, or approved place of performance Off-Site. Pre-approved alternate work locations include select DLA locations and surrounding commuting zones.   • Anticipated Award: October 2026
  • Anticipated Start: November 2026
  • Period of Performance: 1 Base Year + 2 Option Years
  • Salary Range: $95,000 – $105,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, certifications, security clearance, and contract funding. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

· Demonstrated ability to lead or supervise a team of configuration management specialists. 

· Demonstrated experience and ability to provide configuration baseline control throughout the lifecycle of highly complex information systems as well as component software and hardware elements. 

· Ability to facilitate and advise Configuration Control Boards (CCBs). 

· Ability to maintain allocated, functional, and physical baseline control and ability to perform audit support. 

· Able to review all engineering change requests to assess impact upon configuration baseline and logistics support elements. 

· Maintains configuration control records and technical documents. 

· Works closely with quality assurance and management representatives to ensure accurate and well-documented product baseline. 

· Prepares directives for change authorization and implementation.

Education and Experience

· Five years (5) years of relevant experience

· DoW circuit management experience

Required Certifications

· Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.

Security Clearance

· Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, adjudicated within the last five (5) years 

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of this position, with or without accommodation.

  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods while working at a computer.
  • Frequently operate standard office equipment, including computers and telephones.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, video conference, and email.
  • Occasionally move about the office and lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to work the assigned schedule with regular and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% as required.
