About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes.

This role is ideal for someone with strong accounting knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records and accounting transactions.

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  • Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

  • Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.

  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.

  • Monitor and analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or variances.

  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, policies, and procedures.

  • Assist with audit requirements and provide supporting documentation when needed.

  • Maintain organized and accurate accounting files and documentation.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to resolve accounting-related concerns.

  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.

  • Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 3–5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a Senior Accountant or similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and practices.

  • Experience with month-end and year-end closing processes.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Good organizational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with international or US-based clients.

  • Experience with cloud-based accounting platforms such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, or similar systems.

  • CPA or equivalent accounting certification is an advantage.

  • Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
