This Position reports to: Inside Sales Director

In the Utility Sales Support role, you will be responsible for the execution of daily customer activities

including order entry, tracking, and order management with local business units and other ABB groups.

Additionally, the role will expand to support activities at our agent accounts.

The work model for the role is: Remote

Your Responsibilities:

• Utilize ABB‘s tools and processes including product configuration tools, order entry and

business systems.

• Coordinate activities with local business units to track orders and assure on-time customer

delivery.

• Coordinate input from local business units and other ABB groups to ensure bid proposals

meet to customer requirements.

• Simultaneously process information on multiple and varied projects, and respond effectively

to changes in priorities.

• Attend meetings to exchange information and analyze contract requirements.

• Participate in investigating technical problems and establishing procedures and corrective

actions to avoid recurrences.

Your Background:

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business or related field preferred

• Minimum 3 years of technical customer support experience in the Industrial, Utility or related

fields, or equivalent experience

• General knowledge of power transmission & distribution products/systems preferred

• Previous experience with business to business customer support preferred

• Must have knowledge and skill in utilization of computer databases; empower experience

preferred

• Candidates must already have a work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in United

States.

The Commercial Essentials product segment includes electrical junction boxes, commercial fittings, strut and cable tray metal framing systems for commercial and residential construction. The Premier Industrial product segment includes multiple product lines, such as Ty-Rap® cable ties, T&B Liquidtight Systems® protection products, PVC coated and nylon conduit systems, power connection and grounding systems, and cable protection systems of conduits and fittings for harsh and industrial applications. The Division also manufactures solutions for medium-voltage applications used in the utility market under its marquee brands including Elastimold™ reclosers and switchgear, capacitor switches, current limiting fuses, Homac™ distribution connectors, Hi-Tech Valiant™ full-range current limiting fuse for fire mitigation, faulted current indicators and distribution connectors, cable accessories and apparatus with products for overhead and underground distribution. Manufacturing includes made-to-stock and custom-made solutions.
