About Think Research
Think Research is a Canadian health technology company that connects patients with the right clinician and gives care teams the tools to deliver better, human-centred care.
We run two product lines. Digital Front Door (DFD) brings virtual care and patient access to provincial health systems and hospitals across Canada. Pharmapod helps pharmacies and hospitals manage medication incidents and patient safety across North America.
Our ambition is to be the leading DFD provider in Canada and the leader in medication incident management in North America.
The role
You will own how Think Research responds to RFPs — above all the 100+ page provincial and health-system RFPs that decide our largest deals.
Today our responses are written by executives and account executives, alongside their day jobs. You will be our first dedicated bid professional: bringing structure, quality and reuse to every response, so our sellers can sell and our executives can lead.
You work across both product lines, DFD and Pharmapod, and report to the Senior Manager, Revenue Operations.
What you will do
- Process ownership. Own the entire bid and RFP process end to end: implement it, maintain it, and improve it after every bid.
- Quarterback every response. Act as the single point of coordination between Sales, executives, Clinical, Product, Technology and Security, Legal, Finance and Delivery — assigning sections, chasing inputs and driving each response to on-time submission.
- Bid/no-bid. Run a go/no-go decision with Sales on every opportunity, based on fit, win probability and capacity.
- Response plans. Build the plan for each bid: compliance matrix, section owners, internal deadlines and review gates.
- Writing and editing. Write and edit responses, turning clinical, product, technical and delivery input into clear, compliant answers.
- Pricing sections. Coordinate commercial and pricing sections through the approval process with Finance and the Chief Commercial Officer.
- Content library. Build and maintain approved answers, security and privacy questionnaires, references, case studies and team CVs.
- RFP management system. Evaluate and recommend an RFP management platform, lead its implementation, and use it to make responses faster and more consistent.
- Intake and calendar. Own RFP intake and a 12-month submission calendar; monitor procurement portals for new opportunities.
- Submission. Own formatting, forms, compliance checks and on-time delivery.
- Orals and clarifications. Support presentations, demos and clarification rounds with the account team.
- Debriefs. Run a lessons-learned review after every outcome, win or loss, and track bid metrics: submissions, win rate, cycle time.
What success looks like

- Bid/no-bid gate and RFP intake process in use for every new opportunity.
- A first DFD content library built from our recent provincial responses.
- A 12-month submission calendar shared with Sales and leadership.
First year
- Every RFP runs through the process; no missed or late submissions.
- Executives review and sign off responses rather than writing them.
- Faster responses through reuse, with win rate tracked and improving.
- A debrief on every outcome, feeding the content library and our win themes.

- 5+ years of bid or proposal management, ideally in health technology, the public sector, or enterprise software and services.
- Experience running large, complex public-sector RFPs end to end, with many contributors and 100+ page responses.
- Strong writing and editing: clear, compliant and persuasive answers from technical and clinical input.
- Rigorous project management across deadlines and contributors, with no missed submissions.
- Working knowledge of Canadian public procurement.
- Confidence working with senior leaders and holding them to deadlines.
Nice to have
- APMP certification.
