Senior Manager of Partnerships

Remote (US)

About ExpertVoice

We work with hundreds of the world’s most respected consumer brands – companies like Garmin, Carhartt, Ariat, TaylorMade, Brooks, and more, as well as retailers – to engage influential everyday experts, and to build, track and reward their helpful expertise.

At ExpertVoice, we are proud to have cultivated a community of individuals who embody our core values. ExpertVoice employees are authentic, driven, bold and give a damn. We believe that our people are the heart and soul of our organization and their commitment to these values are what drives our success. When you join ExpertVoice, you become part of a team that is united by a shared passion for excellence and a desire to make an impact.

Summary

Reporting to our VP of Growth, the Senior Manager of Partnerships will be responsible for identifying and launching strategic partnerships with top organizations and associations serving the military community – along with law enforcement, fire & rescue, and healthcare sectors – to drive expert acquisition and member growth. You'll engage with decision-makers across nonprofits, businesses, unions, and associations to bring new partners onto the platform, creating scalable programs that deliver measurable value for both ExpertVoice and our partners. This is a role with significant ownership over new-partner growth within our public service professionals strategy, requiring collaboration across internal teams to hit ambitious growth targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build genuine relationships with decision-makers across military organizations, veteran service groups, associations, etc., turning cold conversations into collaborative partnerships that can amplify ExpertVoice's benefits to their members
  • Bring creativity and persistence to prospecting – when there's no obvious path in, find one through networking, referrals, or events.
  • Launch new partnerships with a clear understanding of what benefits both the partner and ExpertVoice, and keep thinking creatively about how to grow member acquisition from that partner well beyond the initial launch.
  • Design and execute scalable partnership strategies that align with business goals and audience engagement metrics, using data-driven insights to prioritize and refine outreach over time.
  • Own quarterly member acquisition KPIs within the public service professional audience segment, with a primary focus on military organizations, and secondary focus on law enforcement, fire & rescue, and healthcare.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Product, to align public service professionals initiatives with broader business objectives.
  • Travel to prospect for new partners, develop strong relationships, and expand long-term success with existing partners, as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Experience within one or more military audiences (e.g., veterans or prior service members themselves, veteran service organizations, military associations, spouse/family networks) strongly preferred, given this role's primary focus.
  • A natural connector who can build rapport with anyone, from a veteran-owned small business to a national association executive.
  • Comfortable pushing for the next conversation or the next intro, persistent in a way that builds trust rather than wearing people down.
  • Creative under ambiguity – able to find an opening or an angle where there isn't an obvious one, and willing to test new approaches and adjust as you learn.
  • 5-7+ years of experience in partnerships, development, fundraising, or business development with a proven ability to drive measurable KPIs.
  • Demonstrated success cultivating strategic partnerships, negotiating deals, and aligning partner motivations with business objectives.
  • Analytical and revenue-oriented, with strong business acumen and a consistent track record of achieving revenue targets.
  • Willingness and availability to travel occasionally for partner meetings and industry events.

The Benefits of Being on the ExpertVoice Team:

  • Compensation: Enjoy competitive pay, plus the chance to earn bonuses through our Company performance plan and annual merit increases.
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package: We offer medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees, with coverage extended to eligible dependents. Additionally, our benefits include flexible spending accounts (FSA), health savings accounts (HSA), life insurance, and both short- and long-term disability.
  • Generous Parental Leave: Welcome your new addition with up to 15 weeks of paid parental leave for full-time employees.
  • 401(k) with Employer Match: Invest in your future with our 401(k) plan and generous immediately vested employer match.
  • Work-life Flexibility: Freedom to work from anywhere in the Continental USA! This position offers the flexibility of being fully remote, with the expectation that team members can follow our standard work hours schedule from 10:00am-3:00pm MT Monday-Friday (unless otherwise communicated). The remaining work hours must be aligned with and approved by the manager, allowing for flexibility while supporting team collaboration and business needs.
  • Exclusive Employee Incentives: clients often extend exclusive incentive purchase programs to EV employees.

The approximate compensation range for this role is a total on-target earnings of $140,000 to $155,000, which is comprised of a base salary amount of $100,000 to $115,000 annually, plus bonus potential up to $40,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications and geographic location.

We are committed to equal employment opportunities regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability, gender identity, or Veteran status.
