We bring deep subject-matter expertise, customer data assessments, consultative presentations, and solution knowledge to complex client opportunities, while working closely with Market Planning and other partners to identify market requirements and help shape new solutions.

About the Role

As a Strategic Account Executive focused on Customer Data Management, you will serve as a consultative overlay specialist and trusted subject-matter expert to clients and internal sales teams. You will analyze customer data, communicate findings related to data quality, linking, duplicates, and potential risk indicators, and translate those findings into clear business value and strategic recommendations.

This role requires a combination of deep customer and business data expertise with strong presentation, interpersonal, and relationship-development skills. You will also collaborate with Sales, Market Planning, Product, Marketing, Operations, and Delivery teams to support customer opportunities and influence solution development, with a significant focus on Financial Crime Compliance use cases.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with core sales representatives across strategic, national, and alliance accounts as a Customer Data Management subject-matter expert and consultative overlay specialist.
  • Lead customer data assessments that evaluate data quality, record linking, duplicate rates, and related issues, then explain findings and business implications to clients.
  • Deliver detailed, in-depth client presentations and strategic recommendations that demonstrate the value of LexisNexis Risk Solutions capabilities.
  • Build trusted relationships with client executives, key decision-makers, core sales representatives, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Apply expertise in entity resolution, customer data linking, data quality management, and Financial Crime Compliance to shape client solutions and advance opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Market Planning to identify market requirements, develop Financial Crime Compliance-focused solutions, and support product and solution innovation.
  • Understand customer business challenges and translate complex technical and analytical concepts into clear, actionable business solutions.
  • Partner with Sales, Product, Marketing, Operations, and Delivery teams to develop solutions and support effective transition and execution.
  • Identify new market and customer opportunities and contribute to strategies that expand relationships and generate revenue.
  • Manage multiple customer engagements and priorities while balancing deadlines and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Travel approximately 10% and communicate effectively across all levels of management and functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of B2B sales, business development, solution consulting, or related experience within technology, data, analytics, or a service-oriented organization.
  • Deep, current experience with customer or business data and the ability to contribute substantive subject-matter expertise in client and internal conversations.
  • Experience with Customer Data Management, Master Data Management, data quality management, entity resolution, customer data linking, or related data solutions.
  • Knowledge of Financial Crime Compliance use cases and the ability to connect customer data capabilities to Anti-Money Laundering, fraud, identity, or related risk challenges.
  • Strong consultative sales experience and demonstrated success supporting complex, multi-stakeholder opportunities.
  • Ability to analyze data assessment findings and explain technical concepts, conclusions, and business value clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, persuasion, and relationship-development skills, including the ability to lead lengthy, in-depth client presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish credibility as a trusted subject-matter expert and collaborate effectively with core sales teams and cross-functional partners.
