Territory: West Coast & Mountain States (CA, OR, WA, NV, AZ, ID, UT, MT, WY, CO, NM)

Location: Field-based / Remote (Must reside near a major Western airport hub—e.g., Denver, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas Seattle, or California metros)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, high-performing Territory Distribution Sales Representative to spearhead business development and account management across our expanded Western region (West Coast & Mountain States).

In this role, you will champion our full line of accessibility and home mobility equipment—including custom residential elevators, Limited-Use/Limited-Application (LU/LA) elevators, vertical platform lifts (VPLs), and through-the-floor home lifts. You will cultivate strong partnerships with certified accessibility dealers, independent elevator contractors, custom homebuilders, and commercial general contractors across varied regional markets.

Key Responsibilities

Dealer Network Development & Territory Growth

Manage, nurture, and grow relationships with existing certified dealers and independent lift contractors throughout the Pacific and Mountain regions.

Proactively identify, recruit, and sign qualified new installation dealers in key expansion markets.

Partner directly with dealer sales reps on joint customer consultations, technical job-site reviews, and end-user design presentations to close residential and light commercial projects.

Facilitate hands-on training sessions for dealer sales teams covering product specifications, quoting tools, site requirements, and competitive advantages.

Specification & Project Pipeline

Establish relationships with architects, interior designers, general contractors, and accessibility consultants to secure proprietary or early-phase specifications.

Deliver AIA-certified CEU presentations and Lunch & Learns to design firms and regional building associations.

Leverage construction tracking platforms to identify upcoming luxury custom home developments, and light commercial spaces requiring LU/LA or VPL lifts.

Technical Consultation & Code Guidance

Provide technical pre-sale consultation regarding ASME A17.1 / CSA B44 (Part 5.3 for Private Residence Elevators; Part 5.2 for LU/LA Elevators) and ASME A18.1 (Vertical Platform Lifts).

Serve as the liaison between distributors and internal customer care & production teams to ensure customer expectations are met.

Sales Operations & Territory Planning

Develop and execute a comprehensive regional territory business plan aligned with annual margin, unit volume, and revenue targets.

Maintain rigorous pipeline management and deal tracking within the CRM.

Represent the company at regional building expos, NAEC conferences, and architectural trade shows.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Construction Management, Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.

3–5+ years of outside B2B/channel sales experience in building products, architectural hardware, vertical transportation, or accessibility mobility equipment.

Documented track record of revenue growth and channel management across multi-state geographic territories.

Technical & Regional Knowledge

Familiarity with residential/commercial accessibility codes (ASME A17.1, ASME A18.1, ADA, and state/local municipal amendments across the West Coast and Intermountain West).

Proficiency in reading architectural blueprints, CAD elevations, framing details, and hoistway section drawings.

Understanding of the regional dynamics across both urban West Coast markets and luxury resort/mountain markets.

Skills & Travel Capacity

Strong organizational, consultative selling, and relationship building capabilities.

Comfort interfacing equally with field installation crews, general contractors, design architects, and high-net-worth homeowners.

Travel: Willingness and ability to travel 50% across the territory.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
