Job Description Summary

As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair of medical equipment (Ultrasound) ensuring optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards.

Job location: Pomeranian Voivodeship (main), Zachodniopomorskie/Kuyavian-Pomeranian and Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship (ad hoc)

Responsibilities

  • Installing and configuring a range of medical equipment, focusing on one modality; developing proficiency in another,
  • Performing on-site regular technical reviews, preventive maintenance, and corrective operations/repairs of moderate to complex nature for installed equipment fleets.
  • Conducting testing, calibration and basic root-cause analysis to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Training healthcare staff on operation and basic troubleshooting.
  • Capturing and maintaining accurate work documentation, including debriefing, parts ordering, and KPI metrics.
  • Appling and coach to ensure EHS and compliance standards are met.
  • Leading communications with customers and serve as the interface between customer and company, including as escalation point for concerns and installations — developing strong customer relationships and explaining technical information to others.
  • Actively promoting and use remote diagnostic tools for remote fixing and equipment diagnostics.

Required Qualifications

  • Basic or relevant experience in Services & Field Services, with a knowledge level comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
  • Successfully completed ECT program or foundational experience in a Field Service Engineer role. Prior experience as a Field Service Engineer in Ultrasound or Patient Care Solutions (PCS) modality will be considered a strong asset.
  • English & Polish: read, understand, and hold conversations.

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Skilled in using Excel, PowerPoint, and other tools to analyze service data and present findings clearly and effectively.
  • Comfortable using digital tools to analyze performance data and communicate results through structured presentations.
  • Capable of assisting with network setup and troubleshooting for connected medical devices, including IP configuration and basic IT coordination.
  • Knowledge of Lean & Continuous Improvement principles.
  • Good interpersonal skills; for customer-facing activities, ability to explain technical information to others and, where needed, support or lead a junior team.
  • Safety-first mindset and technical curiosity to learn and solve problems.
  • Collaboration and one-team approach; rigor, organization, and efficient time management.
  • Listening skills and composure; seeking feedback and advice to grow and learn.
  • Customer-focused mindset; ability to adapt to change with a positive attitude.

Pay Range

For Poland based positions, Annual Salary Range:149,600.00PLN-205,700.00PLN

Placement within this range depends on:

  • Relevant skills and qualifications

  • Prior job-related experience

  • Internal equity considerations (alignment with colleagues in similar roles) e.t.c.
