Position Summary – Flexible, High-Impact Premium Remote Academic Role

The Online Educator (LINC Fellow) functions as an independent academic contributor with LINC Education, delivering online facilitation services to Australia-based postgraduate students enrolled in the Master of Public Health offered by Victoria University Online. The programs are delivered in innovative formats such as Victoria University’s block model, where students complete one unit in an intensive 8-week study period. 

This role is designed for experienced professionals seeking a flexible, remote engagement that enables them to:

What’s on offer? 

This is an 8-week contract-based role offering;

  • Remuneration: Base pay of approx. INR 90000*

  • Additional Performance Incentives: Up to 36000
    *The remuneration is estimated for a group of 25 students for an 8-week unit that requires ~10-15 hours of effort per week)

Work Flexibility

  • Commitment of approximately 10–15 hours per week, 7 days a week. 

  • Fully remote working model

Roles & Responsibilities:

The LINC Fellow is expected to:

  • Provide subject matter guidance to a cohort of 25–30 postgraduate students

  • Conduct 1:1 academic support sessions

  • Guide students on course content and assessments

  • Perform assessment grading with detailed, constructive feedback

  • Manage and moderate weekly discussion forums

  • Support students in developing academic skills such as writing, research, and time management

  • Deliver timely, proactive, and personalised support to student queries

Engagement with students will take place via email, calls, and online platforms within defined availability hours.

Desired candidate profile:

  • Doctorate / Master’s Public health or related field with distinction or first-class from a reputed institution

  • Minimum 5 years of teaching experience or undertaking academic, scientific or clinical research in public health, or 5 years of experience working as a health-sector professional or in related business or other practice-based roles requiring high-order judgement and / or the provision of expert advice. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills with an empathetic and collaborative approach

  • Ability to engage effectively with diverse, global learners

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • High level of comfort with digital tools and platforms

Technical Requirements

  • Personal laptop

  • High-speed internet connection (>10 Mbps)

Availability Requirement

The candidate is expected to be available between 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM IST, 7 days a week, during which they may put in 1-2 hours of work based on student needs and marking load.
