Job Description
Senior Consultant – Oracle ARCS (Account Reconciliation Cloud Service)
Role Summary
We are looking for a Senior Oracle ARCS Consultant to lead the design, configuration, and support of the Account Reconciliation Cloud Service within a Managed Services engagement. This role owns end-to-end ARCS delivery — from solution architecture and enhancements to incident resolution and stakeholder management — acting as the primary technical and functional expert for the client's reconciliation processes.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Ownership
Lead design, configuration, and optimization of ARCS: reconciliation types, formats, profiles, rules, workflows, and transaction matching
Architect complex auto-reconciliation logic, matching rules, and tolerance frameworks for high-volume/high-risk accounts
Own the integration layer between ARCS and source systems (Oracle EBS/Fusion, SAP, other GL/ERP) using EPM Automate, Data Management/FDMEE, or REST APIs
Drive continuous improvement — identify manual reconciliations for automation and reduce reconciliation cycle time
Managed Services Delivery
Act as L2/L3 escalation point for incidents, service requests, and change requests within SLA
Manage ticket queues, prioritize critical/period-end issues, and ensure root-cause resolution (not just workarounds)
Support month-end/quarter-end/year-end close cycles, monitoring reconciliation completion status and driving exception resolution with business users
Own change management for configuration updates, enhancements, and minor CRs, including impact assessment and testing
Coordinate quarterly Oracle patches/updates — assess impact, test in non-prod, and manage regression testing
Governance & Stakeholder Management
Present service performance, open risks, and improvement roadmap in governance calls (weekly/monthly)
Maintain SOX-compliant documentation: configuration records, SOPs, RACI, and audit evidence for reconciliation controls
Mentor junior team members/analysts on ARCS configuration and support processes
Liaise directly with client Controllership, R2R, and IT teams as a trusted advisor
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Systems (CA/CPA/MBA a plus)
6–10 years in finance systems, with 4+ years hands-on Oracle ARCS implementation and support experience
Proven experience delivering under a Managed Services / Shared Services model with SLA accountability
Strong grasp of GL accounting, balance sheet reconciliation, and close processes
Hands-on expertise in Oracle EPM Cloud suite (ARCS; exposure to FCCS/EPBCS/TRCS a plus)
Proficient in Data Management/FDMEE, EPM Automate, and integration troubleshooting
Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and issue diagnosis
Experience supporting SOX/internal audit reconciliation controls
Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communications skills
Preferred Skills
Oracle ARCS/EPM certification
Experience leading ARCS implementations or migrations (not just support)
Exposure to RPA or broader R2R/Finance Transformation initiatives
Prior experience in a global delivery/GBS environment supporting multi-geography clients
ITIL familiarity (incident/change/problem management)
