Description

About Traliant

Traliant is an award-winning technology company transforming compliance training from boring to brilliant. We empower organizations to build healthier, more inclusive workplaces through engaging, interactive online training on topics like workplace harassment, diversity and inclusion, and data privacy. As a fast-growing, remote-first company, we’re looking for team members who thrive in dynamic environments and share our passion for excellence and innovation.

About the Role

As Partner Development Director at Traliant, you will play a key role in driving the company’s growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective business partners. This is a senior strategic hunter role: you will proactively map the partner landscape, build relationships with senior and executive-level decision-makers at prospective partner organizations, bring an existing network of relationships you can activate from day one and assess and articulate the mutual value a partnership with Traliant could create.

You will leverage a variety of research and outreach tools, including ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, and market intelligence sources, to identify and prioritize target partner organizations, particularly within the PEO, EOR, LMS, and content/compliance ecosystems. You will own the partner pipeline end-to-end, from initial identification and qualification through deal structuring ending with a signed partner. You will be most successful in this role if you are comfortable driving high-level, consultative conversations and building a compelling business case for partnership.

You will collaborate closely with Partnership leadership to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified partners and to support alignment on target segments, positioning, and deal strategy.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing, growing team and play a foundational role in building out Traliant’s partnership channel in service of the company’s mission of making workplaces better for everyone.

What Success Looks Like

  • In your first 90 days, you'll build a prioritized target list across the PEO, EOR, LMS, and compliance/content ecosystems and begin activating your existing network
  • In your first 6–12 months, you'll have a qualified pipeline of executive-level conversations underway and be advancing signed partnerships that reflect meaningful deal value
  • You'll be a trusted, informed voice that Partnership and Sales leadership rely on for market insight and deal strategy

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and prioritize prospective partner organizations, with a particular focus on the PEO, EOR, LMS, and content/compliance ecosystems, as well as other complementary channels
  • Activate your existing network of senior relationships across the HR/HR tech landscape to open doors quickly, alongside proactively sourcing and engaging new senior leaders and executives through strategic, multi-channel outreach
  • Build and clearly articulate a compelling, tailored partnership value proposition for each prospect, grounded in mutual business benefit
  • Lead executive-level discovery conversations to assess strategic fit, partnership readiness, and mutual value potential before advancing an opportunity
  • Own the qualified partner pipeline end-to-end, and collaborate closely with Partnerships and Sales leadership to ensure a high-quality handoff of opportunities into deal structuring and negotiation
  • Serve as a credible, informed representative of Traliant in high-level conversations with prospective partners, speaking knowledgeably to the company’s offering and market position
  • Maintain accurate, detailed records of partner conversations, insights, and pipeline status in Salesforce
  • Share market insights and partner feedback with Partnerships, Marketing, and Sales leadership to continuously refine target segments, positioning, and outreach strategy
  • Meet and exceed performance metrics tied to qualified partner pipeline generated and opportunities advanced
  • Stay current on trends, key players, and competitive dynamics across the PEO, EOR, LMS, and compliance/content markets
Requirements

Required Skills and Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in sales, business development, or partnerships, with a demonstrated track record of hunting, sourcing, and qualifying new opportunities
  • 3+ years of business development or partner experience specifically within HR, HRIS/HCM, PEO, EOR or HR/compliance technology
  • Prior experience in partnerships, channel, or alliance roles is a plus
  • Established relationships or a strong professional network within the PEO, EOR, LMS, or content/compliance space
  • Demonstrated ability to have credible, executive-level conversations and build consultative relationships with senior and C-suite stakeholders
  • Strong ability to build and articulate a partnership value proposition, connecting Traliant’s offering to a prospective partner’s strategic priorities
  • Excellent research skills, with the ability to map a partner ecosystem, build a target list, and prioritize based on strategic fit
  • Clear, persuasive communicator across phone, email, and other channels, comfortable engaging with VP- and C-suite-level contacts
  • Self-motivated hunter mentality, resilient and driven to build pipeline from scratch in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized, with strong follow-up discipline and experience maintaining accurate CRM records
  • Experience with Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar tools preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
