Job description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for an experienced Senior OSS Product Owner to support a large-scale telecommunications transformation programme focused on OSS requirements, integration management, and product roadmap alignment.

The successful candidate will drive requirements definition, backlog management, stakeholder alignment, and cross-domain coordination across OSS systems and operational processes. The role requires close collaboration with Product, Network, Operations, Architecture, Automation, Security, and Delivery teams to ensure successful implementation and operational readiness of transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and maintain the end-to-end OSS product vision and requirements roadmap.
  • Gather, analyze, and prioritize business and technical requirements.
  • Own and manage the integrated OSS backlog, ensuring traceability and prioritization.
  • Translate business use cases and operational workflows into actionable product requirements.
  • Coordinate stakeholders across OSS, Network, Operations, Planning, Automation, Security, and Architecture domains.
  • Define product requirements, acceptance criteria, and operational readiness requirements.
  • Manage dependencies across multiple systems, products, and delivery teams.
  • Facilitate workshops and drive alignment among technical and business stakeholders.
  • Support integration testing, validation activities, and acceptance processes.
  • Ensure monitoring, support, recovery, audit, and fallback requirements are incorporated into product design.
  • Prepare reporting materials, status updates, and roadmap recommendations for governance forums.
  • Support MVP delivery, rollout planning, and handover activities.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 8+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Product Manager in complex technology environments.
  • Strong experience within Telecommunications OSS/BSS environments.
  • Solid understanding of:
    • Order Management
    • Inventory Management
    • Service Activation
    • Service Assurance
    • Operational Support Processes
  • Experience working with API-based integrations and distributed system landscapes.
  • Proven capability in backlog management, requirements engineering, and acceptance management.
  • Strong process mapping and workflow analysis skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation capabilities.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks.
  • Ability to manage complex cross-functional initiatives involving multiple teams and vendors.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with network transformation, migration, or site consolidation programmes.
  • Knowledge of orchestration platforms, Digital Twin, inventory management, and network automation solutions.
  • Previous experience in large telecommunications operators.

Language Requirements

  • German is considered an advantage.

Working Model
  • 100% Remote.
  • Occasional business travel may be required for key workshops or programme milestones. (subject to project needs)
