Senior Front-end Developer (Vue.Js) - Part-Time (24h/week)

We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Developer with strong Vue.js expertise to join an international product team on a long-term basis, working 24 hours per week (3 days per week).

💻 About the Role
As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will take ownership of the user-facing side of business-critical B2B applications, with a strong focus on Vue.js. You’ll work closely with backend engineers, product stakeholders, and a Product Designer based in Australia to translate complex commercial and logistical processes into intuitive and reliable digital experiences.

This is a long-term, part-time engagement of 24 hours per week, ideally spread across 3 working days. The team operates primarily within CET working hours, with flexibility for occasional collaboration across time zones. Since the role involves regular communication with international stakeholders, strong professional English and clear, proactive communication are essential.

🎯 Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust Vue.js applications for B2B users

• Translate complex commercial and logistical business logic into clear, intuitive interfaces

• Collaborate closely with backend engineers working with Laravel on API design and contracts

• Work with Product and Design to turn requirements and designs into high-quality user experiences

• Contribute to and help evolve a shared component library and design system

• Ensure strong frontend performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility

• Write maintainable, scalable, and well-tested frontend code

• Communicate clearly and proactively in English with global stakeholders, both technical and non-technical

• Take ownership of your work and contribute to the ongoing reliability of the platform

🛠 Tech Stack

• Frontend: Vue.js 2 upgrading to 3

• Styling: Modern CSS, component library / design system driven

• Backend (context): Laravel, REST APIs

• Database: MySQL

• Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes (k8s)

• Environment: Cloud-based, CI/CD, scalable architectures

✅ Requirements

• Senior-level experience with Vue.js, ideally Vue 2 and 3 and the Composition API

• Strong command of JavaScript and modern CSS and component architecture

• Solid understanding of REST API consumption and state management at scale

• Comfortable working alongside a Laravel backend; hands-on PHP experience is a plus

• Experience with front-end testing

• Experience with build tooling, CI/CD pipelines and front-end performance optimisation

• Proven experience working in a distributed, international team across multiple time zones

• Professional-level English, written and spoken, at a level that allows you to lead calls, write documentation and discuss complex topics with confidence

• Strong communication skills are essential and weigh as heavily as technical ability in this role

• Ability to explain technical challenges clearly to non-technical stakeholders

• Proactive, reliable and ownership-driven mindset
