Job description

About Qureos

You will make organic search the channel that brings the next ten thousand companies and candidates to Qureos.

Qureos turns hiring from a process measured in months into one measured in days. Our AI agents source, screen, message, and interview candidates, cutting roughly 15 hours of manual recruiter work from every role and distributing jobs across 2,000+ job boards.

We raised a $5M seed round led by Prosus Ventures, with Salica Oryx Fund, Oraseya Capital, COTU Ventures, and an early HubSpot executive alongside them. We are funded, growing, and expanding the team for the next phase.

Why This Work Matters

Companies lose great candidates when hiring processes take 6–8 weeks. Candidates also spend time applying to roles without ever hearing back.

Every improvement we make to hiring helps companies find the people they need faster and gives candidates a better experience.

Both sides often start with a search. Your job is to make sure they find Qureos.

The Opportunity

Organic search is already a core growth channel for us. Your role is to make it bigger, more scalable, and clearly connected to business results.

What You'll Own

Technical SEO

  • Run crawls, audits, indexation checks, and log analysis using GSC, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and Semrush.

  • Identify rendering, crawl budget, canonical, structured data, and other technical issues.

  • Size the impact and work with Engineering to get the right issues fixed.

Programmatic SEO

  • Build and improve scalable templates for jobs by role, city, and company.

  • Identify which pages should be created, kept, consolidated, or pruned.

  • Ensure programmatic pages index, rank, and convert at scale.

Content & On-Page SEO

  • Build content strategies around search intent.

  • Improve on-page SEO, internal linking, and content freshness.

  • Create content briefs and review content at scale against E-E-A-T and YMYL principles.

Search Beyond Google

  • Track Qureos visibility across AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini.

  • Identify opportunities to increase Qureos' presence in AI-generated answers.

  • Monitor Google core and spam updates and diagnose their impact on organic performance.

SEO Product & Engineering

  • Turn SEO requirements into clear PRDs and tickets with measurable acceptance criteria.

  • Work closely with Product and Engineering to ship SEO improvements.

  • QA changes before and after release to identify issues early.

Cross-Functional Growth

  • Work across Product, Engineering, Design, PLG, and Sales Ops.

  • Bring 2–3 potential solutions with clear trade-offs around effort, impact, and risk.

  • Help shape the SEO roadmap and identify emerging opportunities in search.

What Great Looks Like After 12 Months

  • Organic sign-ups, applications, and revenue have grown, with a clear understanding of which SEO initiatives contributed to the growth.

  • Programmatic pages are indexing, ranking, and converting at scale, with low-value pages continuously pruned.

  • Qureos is appearing in AI answers for searches that matter to companies and job seekers.

  • Engineering teams are shipping SEO work from clear, actionable specifications.

  • SEO audits, decisions, experiments, and results are documented so the team can build on previous learning.

Who You Are

You have 2–3 years of relevant SEO experience, ideally working with high-scale websites in B2B or SaaS.

You bring strong experience across:

  • Technical SEO

  • Content and on-page SEO

  • Programmatic SEO

  • Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and Semrush

  • Google core and spam updates

  • E-E-A-T and YMYL

  • Analytics and SEO performance measurement

  • Writing PRDs or technical tickets for Engineering

  • AI, LLMs, scripting, or automation within SEO workflows

You should also be able to bring case studies of past SEO wins and clearly explain what you changed, why you changed it, and what the result was.

How You Work

Data first, opinions second

You start with evidence from GSC, crawls, logs, analytics, or other reliable data.

Diagnose before you fix

You identify the root cause, understand the potential impact, and then recommend a solution.

Treat major changes as experiments

You establish a baseline, measure the impact, and document what worked and what didn't.

Use AI to move faster

You use LLMs, scripts, and automation to accelerate research, analysis, implementation, and QA.

What We’re Not Looking For

  • SEO audits that list hundreds of issues without identifying the few that matter most.

  • Generic “fix SEO” tickets without enough detail for Engineering to act on.

  • Reporting traffic numbers without explaining their business impact.

  • Someone who needs every task or roadmap handed to them.

Growth & Ownership

There is room to take on larger areas of ownership over time. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the SEO roadmap, work closely with multiple teams, and build expertise in the next generation of search.
