Job description

Overview:

The Corporate Planning & Performance Lead plays a critical role in translating strategy into results by owning the monthly operating review and preparing executive-level reports and dashboards. This role partners closely with the CEO and the Leadership Team to consolidate business function KPIs, and strategic initiatives into clear, executive‑ready insights linked to financial results that directly inform leadership decision‑making.

This position offers high visibility, cross‑functional influence, and the opportunity to shape how the organization measures performance and drives accountability against corporate goals.

Responsibilities:

Monthly Operating Reviews

  • Manages the end-to-end process for monthly operating reviews, including preparation of executive-level reports and dashboards
  • Consolidates financial results, corporate KPIs, and project milestones into a unified performance view
  • Facilitates review meetings and provides clear analysis of trends, variances, and risks

Corporate Planning

  • Supports development of annual and multi-year strategic plans
  • Aligns financial forecasts with strategic initiatives and operational priorities

Performance Management

  • Defines, tracks, and reports KPIs across business units
  • Monitors progress on strategic projects and escalates risks or delays
  • Tracks progress toward corporate annual and long-term incentive goals, ensuring visibility and accountability

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partners with Finance, Operations, and Project Management teams to gather data and insights
  • Checks for consistency and accuracy in reporting across all functions

Executive Communication

  • Prepares presentations and reports summarizing performance trends and recommendations for executive leadership
Qualifications:

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Mastery in the use of frameworks such as OKRs and/or KPIs to partner with executive leaders to set from scratch and monitor the execution of plans at all levels – enterprise to department to team
  • Proficiency using planning or performance management tools and data visualization platforms
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to translate organizational goals to executives and other senior leaders

Experience

  • 1-3 years of business experience 
  • Proven experience managing executive-level reporting and performance tracking
  • 1-3 years of business experience in corporate planning, FP&A, business operations, performance management or strategy roles preferred
  • Prefer experience where planning or performance management software was used to refine performance management processes including integrations with multiple department workflow software applications

Required Training, Certification and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field

Preferred Training, Certification and Education

  • Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field or MBA
  • AFP, Power BI data analyst

Working Conditions

  • Remote/Home Office
  • Must be able to use equipment at workstation for up to 8 hours daily
