Summary

The Business Analyst – Requirements Management supports requirements management activities for implementation and solution delivery projects. This role assists with gathering, analyzing, documenting, organizing, and maintaining business, functional, non-functional, technical, interface, and compliance-related requirements. The Business Analyst works with project leads, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to help ensure requirements are clear, traceable, aligned with business needs, and maintained throughout the delivery life cycle. This role supports requirements reviews, decision tracking, issue follow-up, and documentation quality while developing practical business analysis skills and solution knowledge.

Your role in our mission

• Supports requirements management activities, including organizing, documenting, updating, and maintaining requirements throughout the project life cycle.
• Assists in eliciting and analyzing business needs, process details, policy considerations, and stakeholder expectations to support clear requirement definition.
• Documents business, functional, non-functional, technical, interface, reporting, and compliance requirements using approved project templates, tools, and standards.
• Helps define clear, measurable, and testable acceptance criteria that support design, development, testing, and stakeholder review activities.
• Maintains requirements traceability from source information through design, configuration, development, testing, and implementation artifacts.
• Reviews requirements and related documentation for completeness, consistency, clarity, and alignment with business objectives and project scope.
• Supports requirements review sessions, design discussions, demonstrations, and stakeholder walkthroughs by preparing materials, capturing feedback, and tracking follow-up items.
• Works with senior business analysts, product owners, project managers, developers, testers, and client stakeholders to clarify questions, document decisions, and resolve open items.
• Assists with requirements change management by documenting requested changes, impacts, dependencies, assumptions, and approval status.
• Maintains requirements status, action items, decisions, risks, issues, and supporting evidence in an organized and audit-ready manner.
• Supports alignment between requirements, process flows, design documentation, test scenarios, training materials, and operational readiness activities.
• Identifies potential gaps, conflicts, ambiguities, or downstream impacts and escalates them to senior team members or project leadership for resolution.
• Contributes to project documentation quality by applying naming conventions, version control practices, formatting standards, and repository organization guidelines.
• Develops business analysis skills through active participation in requirements activities, stakeholder meetings, solution reviews, and team knowledge-sharing sessions.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information systems, healthcare administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years of business analysis, requirements management, project delivery, operations, healthcare, Medicaid, or related experience.
• Foundational understanding of business analysis practices, requirements documentation, stakeholder communication, process analysis, and solution delivery life cycles.
• Ability to write clear, organized, and concise requirements, meeting notes, action items, decisions, and supporting documentation.
• Familiarity with requirements traceability, acceptance criteria, change control, issue tracking, testing concepts, and project documentation standards.
• Experience with healthcare, Medicaid, CMS, MITA, provider enrollment, claims, pharmacy, managed care, or related business processes preferred.

The pay range for this position is $55,600 - $79,400 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
