Job Summary

We’re looking for a hands-on CMS Developer / Web Developer with professional experience building, customizing, maintaining, and troubleshooting websites.

You should have strong practical experience with at least one of WordPress, Shopify, or Wix. Experience across multiple platforms is a plus, but not required.

This role is ideal for a developer who combines strong CMS expertise with solid HTML/CSS and JavaScript skills, understands responsive web development and SEO fundamentals, and can independently diagnose and resolve website issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, customize, maintain, and update websites using WordPress, Shopify, Wix, or other CMS platforms.
• Develop responsive, mobile-friendly webpages from designs, wireframes, or existing layouts.
• Customize WordPress themes, plugins, page builders, Shopify themes, storefronts, or Wix websites.
• Troubleshoot broken layouts, plugins, apps, integrations, forms, and other website issues.
• Implement website improvements focused on performance, page speed, usability, and reliability.
• Apply technical and on-page SEO best practices.
• Integrate third-party tools, analytics platforms, forms, marketing tools, and other web services.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other team members to turn concepts into functional webpages.
• Maintain website content and functionality while ensuring a consistent, high-quality user experience.
• Identify technical issues proactively and recommend practical solutions.
• Manage multiple web development tasks independently while meeting deadlines.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional CMS or web development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with at least one of:
• WordPress: themes, plugins, page builders, customizations, and maintenance.
• Shopify: themes, storefront customization, e-commerce functionality, and ideally Liquid.
• Wix: website builds, customization, responsive layouts, and ongoing maintenance.
• Strong HTML and CSS skills.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript.
• Proven experience building and maintaining responsive, mobile-friendly websites.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with website performance and page-speed optimization.
• Understanding of technical and on-page SEO fundamentals.
• Experience converting designs or wireframes into functional webpages.
• Familiarity with third-party integrations, forms, analytics, and marketing tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Strong professional English communication skills.
• Comfortable working remotely with distributed teams.

• PHP and WordPress development experience.
• Liquid and Shopify development experience.
• WooCommerce or broader e-commerce experience.
• Git/GitHub experience.
• Hosting, domain, DNS, and website deployment knowledge.
• Google Analytics / GA4 experience.
• Figma-to-web implementation experience.
• API integrations.
• Experience working within a digital, web development, or marketing agency.
