About the Role

We're looking for a Housing Analyst to help a global travel and hospitality platform understand housing markets and how they affect its business and communities. You'll analyze housing supply, rental trends, and local regulations, then turn your findings into clear insights for policy, partnership, and business teams. Your work will shape decisions in key markets across the country.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze housing market data, including rental trends, supply, and affordability, across key markets
  • Track and summarize local housing regulations and policy developments
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports that monitor market conditions
  • Produce clear written briefs and presentations for cross-functional stakeholders
  • Partner with policy, partnerships, and business teams to answer high-priority questions
  • Identify data gaps and help improve how housing data is sourced and maintained

Qualifications

Required

  • 3+ years of experience in housing, real estate, urban economics, or public policy analysis
  • Strong skills in SQL and spreadsheet analysis
  • Experience turning complex data into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently

Preferred

  • Experience with Python or R
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker
  • Knowledge of short-term or long-term rental markets
  • Advanced degree in economics, urban planning, public policy, or a related field

Key Details

  • Start Date: Flexible
  • Duration: Long-term contract (length to be confirmed)
  • Location: Remote (within the U.S.)
  • Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday
  • Pay Rate: $75-$86/hour
  • Employment Type: W-2 (no C2C or 1099)
  • Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Engagement: Contract role through Maleda Tech.
