Position Summary
At Conscious Discipline, we believe in creating compassionate cultures that build safety, connection, and problem-solving skills for both children and adults. We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst who embodies these values while bringing clarity, structure, and strategic alignment to our technology ecosystem.
This role blends analytical expertise with cross-functional partnership, supporting all Conscious Discipline teams through thoughtful requirements gathering, systems optimization, and scalable process design.
The right candidate will be both strategically minded and willing to roll up their sleeves—someone who can translate complex business needs into effective technology solutions while also serving as a hands-on backup resource when needed to configure systems, develop reports, support integrations, or directly address business information needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with department leaders to identify technology-enabled improvements that align with organizational strategy and mission impact.
- Lead discovery sessions to document business processes, clarify requirements, and define scalable system solutions.
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, workflows, and system documentation.
- Key measures of success will include system adoption rates, process efficiency improvements, reduction in manual workarounds, data integrity improvements, stakeholder satisfaction, project delivery timelines, and cross-functional alignment.
- Ensure integrity, consistency, and governance of enterprise systems (CRM, eCommerce, LMS, marketing automation, finance, integrations, etc.).
- Own documentation standards for business requirements, system architecture diagrams, data definitions, and workflow processes.
- Identify risks, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies across systems and proactively recommend improvements.
- Collaborate on automation initiatives and system integrations that increase visibility, reduce duplication, and improve scalability.
- Serve as a backup operational resource within IT—willing and able to step in to configure workflows, build dashboards and reports, manage user permissions, support system administration tasks, or resolve business-critical information gaps when capacity requires.
- Support vendor evaluation, implementation efforts, and system enhancement initiatives.
- Lead or support user acceptance testing (UAT), training documentation, and change management efforts.
- Contribute to IT governance processes, ensuring alignment between technology investments and organizational priorities.
- Support a culture of accountability and continuous improvement through structured analysis and collaborative problem-solving.
- Ensure systems and processes uphold the mission and values of Conscious Discipline by promoting clarity, integrity, and collaboration.
