Role Overview

The MDM Analyst will be an integral role in the MDM and Data Governance organization.  This is a hands-on analyst role that supports the implementation of the MDM strategy, working closely with data stewards, business stakeholders, technology teams, and other members of the data team.

Roles and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Director, Data Governance, this role combines data analysis, data quality, metadata management, documentation, governance, and program coordination.  It will help identify and resolve data issues, document master data requirements and standards, maintain governance information within TKO’s data catalog, and support effective operation of the MDM program. The role will initially support master and reference data domains across TKO, which may include customers and consumers, organizations, partners, products, venues, events, and other core enterprise entities.

MDM and Data Quality

  • Perform data profiling and data quality analysis across key master data domains, identifying duplicates, completeness issues, inconsistencies and potential root causes.

  • Work with data stewards and subject-matter experts to define and document master data requirements, business rules, data quality rules, and validation criteria.

  • Support the identification of authoritative data sources and document how master data is created, maintained, distributed, and consumed across TKO.

  • Track data quality issues through identification, ownership, remediation, and closure.

  • Analyse recurring data issues, track trends, and support the identification of potential root causes and remediation opportunities.

  • Document details for MDM in the data catalog (Atlan) and own the overall day-to-day administration of the data catalog (Atlan), including user access and routine upkeep.

  • Provide recurring MDM reporting, including data quality scorecards and program metrics, and present to senior management and stakeholders.

Program and Coordination Support

  • Support the implementation of TKO's MDM strategy and data lifecycle framework, helping translate agreed principles into requirements, processes, controls and operational activities.

  • Own the MDM program trackers, task lists, and status logs.

  • Consolidate updates from team members and partners into clear summaries, ensuring all outstanding items are accurately tracked and statused.

  • Prepare materials for governance meetings and working groups, such as drafting slides, taking notes, and capturing action items. Track program status against goals and communicate where items need attention to senior team members.

Collaboration and Learning

  • Work closely with data stewards, business teams, technology teams, and SMEs across the different BUs and functions

  • Build a strong understanding of TKO’s data, MDM concepts, and governance practices, taking on growing responsibility over time.

  • Respond to routine questions about data definitions and documentation.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in a data, analytical, or administrative support role, including hands-on exposure to working with data, which is required

  • A degree in information systems, data, business, analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Good understanding of core data concepts such as data quality, data structures, data definitions, metadata, and data lifecycle management. Prior Master Data Management experience is beneficial but not required.

  • Strong proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, including organizing, maintaining, and reviewing data and records.

  • Working knowledge of SQL with the ability to carry out analysis and data quality checks.

  • A careful and responsible approach to handling personal and sensitive information.

  • Experience and/or interest in media, sports, entertainment, live events, or consumer data environments.





Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the hourly rate shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. The company strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.





Hiring Rate Minimum:

$60,000 annually(minimum will not fall below the applicable State/local minimum salary thresholds)


Hiring Rate Maximum:

$80,000 annually
