ELSE Master Data Lead

In this role you will manage the creation, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of master data solutions for ELSE systems and participate in Transformation programs and Merger & Acquisition integrations. You will provide guidance on Customer Master Data, Location Master Data, and Material Master Data governance, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and quality across complex integration scenarios. You will work within large-scale transformation programs, engaging with stakeholders across all organizational levels to align priorities, negotiate solutions, and drive consensus on master data decisions.
The work model for the role is hybrid or remote and this role is contributing to the
Electrification Service Division, Globally.
You will be mainly accountable for:- Support the design, implementation, and optimization of new ELSE master data processes and structure.
- Support Merger & Acquisition integration initiatives by designing data integration plans, identifying data conflicts, and ensuring seamless consolidation of different master data domains.
- Ensure master data integrity, cleansing, normalization, and quality standards are maintained across all systems within scope of responsibility.
- Develop and maintain data quality frameworks, metrics, and monitoring dashboards to identify and resolve data quality issues.
- Lead solution development for complex quality issues, establishing best practices and continuous improvement programs.
- Design, document, and continuously update procedures and guidelines for data policies, system maintenance, and new tools implementation.
- Lead the development, enhancement, and maintenance of data management tools, automation scripts, and quality assurance processes.
- Participate in enterprise architecture discussions and contribute to strategic master data roadmap planning.
- Proactively identify risks and dependencies across workstreams to ensure smooth delivery.
- Lead cross-functional implementation projects, ensuring successful new solutions rollout and M&A integration initiatives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to identify data requirements and implement solutions.
Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Data Management, Master Data Management, or related IT solutions roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or equivalent education.
- Proven experience with data integration, data governance frameworks, and/or M&A integration projects.
- Expert-level proficiency in Data Management, Governance, and SAP.
- Strong knowledge of master data domains: Customer Master Data, Location Master Data, and Material Master Data.
- Advanced data analysis and interpretation capabilities.
- Process improvement and optimization expertise. Project management capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Advanced functional knowledge in SAP (S/4Hana preferred)
- Experience with SAP Master Data Governance or similar platforms would be considered a strong asset.
- Automation and/or AI/ML knowledge for data quality and integration would be considered a strong asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English; additional languages beneficial.
