Job Summary

The role of a Proactive Injury Coverage Coordinator is to pursue financial savings on behalf of our customer using the legal theories of Coordination of Benefits with Automobile insurance and administering workers compensation and other coverage exclusions.  May include initiating telephone calls to members, providers and other insurance companies to gather coordination of benefits.  Ensure adherence to state and federal compliance policies, reimbursement policies and contract compliance. 

Responsibilities

  • Investigate, coordinate, and resolve all types of claims as well as coordinating and resolution for health plans, commercial customers, and government entities (40%)
  • Initiate phone calls to members, providers, and other insurance companies to gather coordination of benefits (30%)
  • Ensure adherence to state and federal compliance policies, reimbursement policies, and contract compliance(15%)
  • Perform other duties as assigned(15%)

Required Job Qualifications

  • Healthcare experience required
  • Prior Injury Coverage Coordination or Claims Management experience
  • Intermediate Excel experience.  Ability to use MS Excel to sort, filter, formulate and display data

Preferred Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Healthcare Subrogation process
  • FACETS Claims Platforms experience
  • In depth knowledge of SubroNow platform.
