Job description

CrazyGames.com, one of the world’s largest casual gaming platforms with over 60M monthly visitors, is looking for a (full or hybrid) remote experienced Data Engineer in Europe.

Your mission will be to handle the data pipeline from collection to cleanup and aggregation of the data of milions of users daily, making it available for analysts and the company to gain insigths from. You will report to the Head of Data and will work closely with Data & Engineering teams.

On a typical day you might:

  • Monitor the health of the data pipeline and solve performance issues;

  • Create a new intermediate table in our data lake to simplify the consumption of information;

  • Interact with the Data Scientists to improve the quality of the datasets they use;

  • Improve the data ingestion process, making it more cost-effective;

  • Develop and support a semantic layer for AI-driven data analyses.

Key outcomes for the role:

  • Within 1 month, you have a clear understanding of every step of our data pipeline (from ingestion usage in dashboards);

  • Within 3 months, you have spotted areas of improvements and cut costs or boosted time efficiency by 5%;

  • Within 6 months, you have deployed multiple changes on our data pipeline and can autonomously plan future work;

  • Within 12 months, you fully own our data pipeline and have successfully taken over the responsibilities from our Engineers.
