Title:

Senior Program Analyst

KBR is seeking a Senior Program Analyst to join our Team! Be part of a dynamic team of talented professionals supporting the exciting world of Foreign Military Sales for the Australian F/A-18 Super Hornet and Growler Program. This position is in Lexington Park, MD.

Roles and Responsibilities.

  • The Contractor shall provide program management (PM) services for the Program Management Activity (PMA) 265 Australia IPT in support of the F/A-18 air vehicle, subsystems, armament, engine, airborne weapons, technical publications, spares, support equipment (SE), transportation and training/trainer efforts.
  • Supports the generation, modification, and review of acquisition and contractual documents (e.g., Procurement Initiation Documents (PID)s, Statement of Work (SOW), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL)s, Delivery Schedules) to ensure alignment with the program requirements and conformance to DoD contract and acquisition regulations.
  • Coordinates, supports, and attends program management reviews, technical coordination meetings, conferences, briefings and other significant program activities and events occurring in CONUS or OCONUS, as required, to perform analysis in support of the PMA265 Australia IPT.
  • Apply analytic techniques to evaluate program and project objectives, assessing requirements, performance indicators, budget execution, and schedule adherence to support informed decision‑making. Conduct management, technical, and business case analyses to evaluate program alternatives, identify risks, and recommend solutions that enhance program efficiency and effectiveness. Collect, organize, and interpret technical, financial, and programmatic data related to aircraft, weapons systems, and acquisition programs. Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation.
  • Track and monitor program status, including cost, schedule, performance metrics, milestones, and deliverables. Identify variances and support corrective action planning. Support acquisition documentation development, including program plans, briefings, reports, and decision packages required under DoD Instruction 5000-series processes.
  • Implement and maintain government‑mandated processes for configuration management, change control, and data management to ensure compliance with DoD standards and program requirements.  Coordinate with cross‑functional stakeholders, including engineering, logistics, financial management, contracting, and security personnel, to ensure alignment across all program activities.  Assist in preparing program reviews, milestone documentation, and executive‑level presentations that communicate program status, risks, and recommendations

Basic Qualifications:

  • Clearance & Citizenship: Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret security clearance.
  • BS/BA
  • At least ten (10) years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline, related to weapon systems acquisition and LCM; and a minimum of six (6) years out of 10 years of recent work experience related to analysis and planning to include specific knowledge of FMS and Defense Security Assistance Programs.
  • Expert knowledge of SECNAV, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV) and Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) forms related to Planning Programming and Budgeting System (PPBS), Military Interdepartmental Procurement Requests (MIPR), Work Requests, Requisitions, CDRLs, and DD254 is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Applicant must be a flexible self‑starter with the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with key software tools—including Adobe Acrobat Pro, SharePoint, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word—is desired to support documentation development, data analysis, and collaborative program management activities.
  • Knowledge of NAVAIR security, technical transfer, and foreign disclosure policies is desired, including familiarity with processes governing international engagements, technology release, and compliance with DoD disclosure regulations. Applicant must be a flexible self-starter and have the ability to work autonomously.

Remote Eligible, Must Work East Coast Core Business Hours.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week.  

Compensation: $106,000-$160,000. The salary range posted is based on the national average. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
