Global insurance and asset management company seeks a responsible, organized, dynamic and team-oriented person.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ASSIGNMENTS
This role previously supported traditional Cisco IP telephony engineering and system design. Following migration from Cisco to Content Guru, the position has shifted to Verint PCI compliance and onboarding work, with occasional legacy Cisco telephony coverage during the transition.
As the environment continues moving away from traditional Cisco telephony, the role is expected to concentrate increasingly on Content Guru support.
Business Context and Key Challenges:
- Supports telephony environment as it transitions from Cisco IP telephony to Content
Guru, with a near-term focus on Verint compliance and onboarding;
- First 3–6 months: drive Verint
PCI compliance activities and onboarding, provide occasional Cisco telephony
engineering coverage, and begin building Content Guru support capability;
- Key priorities: Verint PCI
compliance and onboarding, ramping Content Guru support, and winding down
traditional Cisco telephony engineering scope.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Verint PCI compliance
activities for the US telephony/recording environment, including configuration,
validation, and audit readiness;
- Manage Verint onboarding for
new sites, systems, and users as part of the compliance program;
- Provide occasional Cisco IP
telephony engineering and system design coverage during the Cisco-to-Content
Guru transition;
- Build up Content Guru platform
support and engineering capability as the environment shifts away from Cisco
telephony;
- Design, test, and validate PCI
DSS controls across recording and IVR platforms;
- Partner with compliance and
security teams to document and remediate PCI-related findings;
- Provide technical guidance on
telephony architecture decisions through the multi-platform transition period.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Hands-on IP telephony
engineering (Cisco UCM/CUBE/voice gateways) at principal level, including
system design experience;
- Verint recording/compliance
platform experience, including PCI DSS control implementation and system
onboarding;
- Working knowledge of PCI DSS
requirements as applied to telephony and call recording environments;
- Exposure to Content Guru or a
comparable cloud CCaaS platform, or demonstrated ability to ramp quickly on new
telephony platforms;
- Fluent English, written and
spoken: able to work directly with US business and compliance stakeholders and
interview in English;
- Experience collaborating across
international, multicultural teams and time zones;
- Strong ownership and autonomy,
able to operate independently on compliance-driven deliverables with minimal
supervision.
Preferred Skills:
- Direct hands-on experience with
the Content Guru platform;
- PCI DSS certification or
QSA-adjacent audit exposure;
- Experience in insurance or
other regulated, enterprise-scale environments;
- Cisco voice certifications
(CCNP/CCIE Collaboration) from prior telephony engineering work.
Experience Requirements:
- 8+ years in IP telephony
engineering, with principal-level ownership of system design and architecture
decisions;
- Demonstrated delivery in a
compliance-driven capacity (PCI DSS or comparable regulated framework);
- Track record supporting
platform migrations/transitions (e.g., legacy telephony to cloud CCaaS) in
enterprise environments.
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer
Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience;
- PCI DSS-related and/or Verint
certifications preferred; Cisco voice certifications (legacy skillset) a plus.
Working Model and Collaboration:
- Main stakeholders: compliance/security teams, Verint platform team, and the Content
Guru transition team;
- Flexibility expected around
compliance audit windows, Verint onboarding events, and occasional legacy Cisco
telephony support.
