The Head of Commercial Analytics will lead the use of commercial analytics and AI-enabled insight generation to support product launches, in-market performance, and pipeline planning across argenx US Commercialization. The role will leverage enterprise data, platforms, and capabilities to translate complex information into practical decision support for US Commercial leaders and teams, driving stronger organizational impact and amplifying argenx’s ability to improve patient outcomes.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
Drive commercial decision-making, performance management, and business planning across argenx US Commercialization by leveraging data management, AI enablement, and self-serve analytics capabilities as critical enablers.
Inspire, coach, manage and develop employees to achieve and grow as individuals and a cohesive team
Effectively manage external vendor relationships to ensure high-quality, actionable deliverables that support US Commercialization priorities.
Establish an innovative culture that advances objective, data-driven decision-making by embedding trusted data, scalable analytics, AI-enabled methods, and self-serve insight tools into commercial business routines.
Deliver integrated commercial, customer, patient, product, and performance insights that are actionable for teams and support achievement of Commercial goals.
Translate US Commercialization business needs into high-value analytics, reporting, and AI use cases that support existing and future assets.
Analyze, synthesize, and interpret data across sources to generate timely, meaningful reports, dashboards, and executive-ready recommendations for brand and leadership teams.
Support senior management readiness for key investor calls and meetings, including earnings calls, JPM, and other external engagements, by providing timely data facts, insights, and executive-ready briefing materials.
Serve as a senior commercial analytics partner to business leaders, helping teams interpret data, apply AI-enabled insights, and make faster, more informed decisions across provider, patient, payor, and performance domains.
Ensure US Commercial teams can access, understand, and confidently use trusted data, analytics, and AI-enabled insights within brand, launch, performance, and pipeline planning processes.
Accelerate AI usage across US Commercialization by identifying decision points where AI-enabled analytics can improve planning, execution, and performance management, and by championing adoption of scalable solutions.
Support assessment of Commercial strategies and tactics through performance measurement, ROI analytics, predictive insights, and recommendations that optimize the use of existing and future resources.
Partner with Finance to manage the department budget including vendor agreements and contracts.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Highly skilled in influencing cross-functional teams, including interfacing with key internal and external stakeholders and with scientific and commercial teams
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Adaptive and motivated to build and lead while "rolling up their sleeves" to get it done
Solid business, planning and budget management acumen
Demonstrated experience managing commercial vendors and service providers to deliver actionable analytics, insights, and business support.
Ability to motivate and lead teams
Record of attracting and developing strong talent both internally and externally. Proven ability to grow and develop others
Ability to translate US Commercialization priorities into practical data, AI, and self-serve analytics requirements and adoption plans.
Good understanding of regulatory and legal requirements to pharmaceutical commercial operations
Education and Qualifications:
BA or BS required, MBA Preferred
Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial functions within the biopharmaceutical industry with 5-7 years in commercial analytics, business intelligence, performance analytics, forecasting, or AI-enabled decision support.
Comprehensive understanding of commercial data sources, reporting, segmentation, forecasting, performance analytics, advanced analytics methodologies, and the application of AI to improve business decision-making.
Strong analytical skills with the capability to effectively define business issues and recommendations
Start-up and Launch experience a plus
Familiarity with leading pharma industry commercial vendors

For applicants in the United States: The annual base salary hiring range for this position is $236,000.00 - $324,500.00 USD. This range reflects our good faith estimate at the time of posting. Individual compensation is determined using objective, inclusive, and job-related criteria such as relevant experience, skills, demonstrated competencies and internal equity. This means actual pay may differ from the posted range when justified by these factors. Because market conditions evolve, pay ranges are reviewed regularly and may be adjusted to remain aligned with external benchmarks.This job is eligible to participate in our short-term and long-term incentive programs, subject to the terms and conditions of those plans and applicable policies. It also includes a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to retirement savings plans, health benefits and other benefits subject to the terms of the applicable plans and program guidelines.
