Job description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a Snowflake Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud data solutions. You will work closely with engineering, analytics, and business teams to ensure reliable, high-quality data is available for reporting and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Snowflake.
  • Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for structured and semi-structured data.
  • Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models.
  • Integrate data from APIs, databases, SaaS platforms, and cloud storage.
  • Optimize Snowflake performance, warehouse usage, and query efficiency.
  • Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Support data warehousing, reporting, and analytics requirements.
  • Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data solutions.


Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, Matillion, or similar.
  • Experience with Python for data processing and automation.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Understanding of dimensional modelling, data lakes, and data warehouse architecture.
  • Experience with Snowflake features such as Streams, Tasks, Snowpipe, Time Travel, and clustering is preferred.
