Head of Engineering

This is a remote position.

We are hiring a Head of Engineering for a jewellery retail client. The role will lead the company’s complete technology ecosystem, including ERP, POS, RFID inventory, data and BI, digital commerce, cybersecurity, and DPDP compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engineering strategy, architecture, and technology delivery.
  
• Own jewellery ERP, POS systems, RFID inventory, website, mobile app, and BI platforms.
  
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, security, and smooth system integrations.
  
• Build and manage engineering teams and technology vendors.
  
• Drive build-versus-buy decisions and retail technology transformation.
  
• Collaborate with leadership, finance, marketing, and store operations teams.
  

Requirements

• 8-12 years of technology experience, including 4+ years in an engineering leadership role.
  
• Experience in retail, jewellery, luxury, or inventory-intensive businesses.
  
• Strong exposure to ERP, POS, RFID, data/BI, digital commerce, and cybersecurity.
  
• Experience managing teams, vendors, enterprise systems, and large-scale integrations.
